SVA doesn't mean a Q plate either as long as the majority of one car is used, will retain it's plate. I doubt the exhaust too as will entail decibel meters being used.. otherwise it's "Subjective"

As Nick says, and for even simpler conversion retain the K-jet system and just do a "Block-swap" No messing with ECU's etc.. and good for 170 pre-mods... Makes a Mk2 go really quick! VR beating quick!

Also consider speed humps when loweing the car! And the life of the chin spoiler!

Had similar in Nequay one RTTS, was in my Notchback sunny day and window open, some little scrote decided to empty a water gun in the car! Stopped, reversed back after him, got out, grabbed him by scruff of neck, and after found out he was a local DROVE him to his house and ask dad for £300 to replace all the wet carpets etc... Dad exploded! Didn't get the money, but did get the satisfaction of watching the little scrote Vax the carpets while having a beer with dad... who said the kid wouldn't sit for a week either... Doubt he's done that again! :lol:

Remember the Knock sensor connects to ?4? lead and is a beatch to remove... VAG ones have a new one attached, which is probably whey they are so damn expensive! (£125+ from meory!)

Love Rain-X... Been using it since the days of Air-cooled... (and you thought Rado wipers were bad! ) Gotta laugh at the looks from your passenger as you drive down rain-soaked roads with the wipers off! Found treating the screens to 2-3 layers of Original Rain-X lasted a good couple months... Longer on unswept areas

So does anyone rate KWV-1's with 16/17' or have I just made a quite expensive Boo-Boo?
