Yup but on the down-side the early ones have the double switch hole on the wrong side! So you'd need to locate Door trims from a RHD..

Just noticed the boot hatch is completely gone! Doesn't look to be a straight panel on it either!

V nice liking the colored D90' with white rims... Only thing I'd do (and it's my personal choice) is change the chrome rear VW badge for a black one..

Well not as spectacular... and actually not "what I did" more like "what the garage did" but refreshed the MOT yesterday.. got off lightly with Front plate (smashed) CV gaitor (split) and rear flexi-hose (weak)! My 3rd MOT with teh Rado and nothing too bad yet! :shock:

Getting better all the time, the Images look great without the stretch too.. some how look "beefier" in my eyes anyway.. Am getting used to the roof now.. wasn't keen at first.. The Images are going to be a PITA if you're using them as a winter wheel mate, or are you keeping the D90's for that?

Check teh rubber bellow where the handbrake cables go into the body and try and get as much spray-lube down as possible.. If they split the let water in and that freezes in the pipes effectivly locking the brake on.. we had a spate of this last year IIRC..

Yeah think I need to top up the old apple screen wash then! (yeah sounds gay but I hate the smell of screen wash, so it's marginally better!) Will have a poke about with the multi-meter at the weekend too

My hand-books in storage so thought I'd ask here... Does the Rado have heated washerjets? if so how do they work? Off the heated screen switch like the mirrors? Mine have wiring running to the jet bodies under the bonnet (alongside the pipes) but they didn't defrost today on an hour and a half trip round the M25.. I was resorting to opening the sunroof in traffic and pouring water onto the screen to clean off the salt on my windscreen. Mind you the car still had frost on it at the end of the trip too! :shock: Any advice would be most welcome..

Not much. watch a new shape 330c almost stack it last night.. drivers fault for ignoring the "Police slow" signs posted on an un-gritted road with a leaking water main at night! He just abou kept it on the road but didn't see the sheet ice till too late, slammed on the anchors and off he went. Just like Torville and Dean, but silver and less gracious!

That is extreme rat rodding and a good example of what rat look is, not the rubbish you see at shows sporting the "rat" look with a forced rusty bonnet, roof bars, stickers. Well Rat's kind of all about the "patina" of OG paint body wise.. then it kinda splits.. the Hardcore Rat rodders favour the look of "I Just pulled this out of a barn where its been stored from Circa 1950" with period parts etc.. and others go the "Shiney bits" route.. Me? I love the former.. Back on topic a little I wonder if he drives lying down!
