Can't get them anywhere including VW and TPS, anyone got a mint one, preferably un-used. ---------- Post added at 11:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:05 PM ---------- just to clarify, need the part that fits to the leading edge of the bonnet in the middle.
-
Im on first nam basis with the guy in my local TPS, really nice guy and helpful. He said he remembers the corrado coming out new in the dealers where he worked.
-
Thanks for your help guys, bought one from Halfords, just like in that link. Isn't cheap but fits perfectly!
-
saw a mk2 gold with the r36 engine in. was a bit of a hash as they fitted the 12v fueling system onto it (injectors on the intake runners) and litterally bypassed the TFSI set, IMO pointless. Externally very little difference with the r32 but a bugger to get done. even tougher than the r32.

I'd be very interested. Happy to exchange for my standard air system and help with the removal if close enough
-
excellent, thanks guys. off to halfrauds now to pick one up
-
some on the classifieds iirc
-
like i said my current one is a generic one so maybe not the the same dimensions. Does the halfords one cover all the way to the bottom of the wheel? Rob, I couldnt find the one you mentioned. Any links?
-
rob, yours sounds promising
-
hhmmm, Jim I have a generic medium cover and it doesnt cover the bumpers, should I not go large? Would ou have any pictures of one on a corrado?
-
Tried looking through the search but no luck Any one got a good example of which car cover to use that can cover the whole car and wheels? Going to put the car under the car port but still wish to protect it while stored away. thanks

I'm sure if the group buy was to go ahead, more of these would be needed and hence ss may be the only option, unless the old ones get stripped and powder coated.
-
That may have been me, sorry I didnt see you if that was the case. Don't worry, I still have the rado, she's just tucked away these days.

To who? I thought we had an agreed sale through the classifieds section? -
Funny, I asked Andi a while back how to become a mod. Guesse Im not worthy...oh well. While I have Andi's attention, why do I keep getting random classified ads off you as PM's? sorry to thread hijack

oh no! I have a CAT back system on the classifieds, should fit a g60 if that's any help? In other news, Chris, Jon and myself have almost got our cars ready for the day. Lets hope the rain stays off.

A link was shown in the "definitive guide", but my guide is in the wiki sub folder, here it is just incase you cant find it http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?50720-R32-3.2-24v-Audi-conversion-guide I put this together due to the amount of spam you came across on the other thread. good luck with the project
-
Not true, theres a "diy" conversion manual, i know 'cus i created it. if you cant spend time researching the work then I would suggest you pay for someone else to do it for you
-

-
quite allot of info already on here for both the 2.8 and 3.2 24v conversion, I suggest you find out whats involved before finding out the costs (esp if your going to do the work yourself)

I'm et40 (20mm spacer) and et35 (25mm spacer) iirc, but need to confirm as its been a while since I measured up. I may even be on 8.5 wide wheels (what are they standard?), my memory is failing lol Using 205/40/17 tyres.
