Ditto, the 12v noise was much better. But I've had an exhaust on the 24v at one point which made it sound very nice indeed, only got rid of it as I wanted a "quite" system.
-
I tried looking into this and ended in a dead end. Will keep an eye on this incase you do any better.
-
I would then suggest, put the wheels back on, drop the car back down and use a large breaker bar to remove the nut. Plenty of threads on this Im sure.

I've had the 3.2 24v engine in mine for over a year and a half now and seriousely cant see why people fall out of love with them. Yes fuel economy is poor, but don't they expect that when going larger/more hp? I didnt do the conversion for economy, I did it for the performance on tap and the extra that can be achieved with some tweaks. Looking forward to seeing what the DTA can do (if anything) on your engine as my only gripe with my setup is the flat spot near low end.

The hub nut is torqued up to a high level and iirc is reverse thread ie anticlockwise to tighten and clockwise to tighten but you need to confirm. It's strongly suggested that to remove this nut the car should be on the floor with all four wheels as you may end up knocking the car off the axel stands. The driveshaft can be removed at the gearbox joint but you will struggle to then undo the nut on the hub if it's not secured tight to the car (I had some driveshafts delivered to me while still fitted to the hubs, ended up taking it to a garage) What are you actually tring to do?

wasnt able to upload the picture the first time, looks like youve now seen the picture since sorting out the file. Just need to find a corrado shell to start it all. Anyone got any ideas or clues on how to get esp fitted up?

Just tried looking at your previous posts for hints on the awd conversion but a load of pics are missing, any reason for this? Any chance you could sort it or maybe send me as many pics from the conversion as you can? pretty please?

Ryan, what are you wanting for the s3 bits?
-

trapped earth/positive wire?? Follow the wiring back to the fusebox and fan, it may give you a clue.
-
the search feature is your friend, try using "brakes" too instead. Covered many times before

Daz I'll take the lot, I did manage to get new spring thingys from vw but might as well get matching bling. let me know your payment details thanks
-
do you have a price in mind as this looks like an ideal base for me. Plus you being in essex isnt too bad for me. I originally was only looking for a shell so didnt want to spend much.
-
if its any use, i'm on a look out for a decent project base. if your close enough this could work out for both of us.
-
confirmed, Im down in yeovil on Saturday if its of any use. let me know if you need this still?

Starting the next phase of my project and I'll be starting to look out for a Corrado shell. Most setups considered, but ideally want a vr6 rolling shell with no rust or damage. As close to Peterborough/Spalding as possible to make logistics simple WHY

just bought a new cable £33+vat!! Im on my third now
-
Bad news, but isn't this a godsend? The insurance payout can cover the respray of a corrado shell and you can buy back the damaged one to allow it to be reshelled into the freshly painted body.
