Might be worth updating the wiki!? http://wiki.the-corrado.net/front_seat_removal.html

I also have an un-covered VSR manifold. I ultimately got the kit from G60MAT (http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?92165-Genuine-VWMS-VSR-VR6-VW-Motorsport-Manifold-Setup-SOLD) - his original advert suggested he could "work with the purchaser to produce a new badge". Admittedly, we would still need an original cover plate to replicate... I can assist you and even contribute towards costs?

You could ask if there is anyone with VagCom near you in the "VAG-COM scanning & help" thread - you are miles away from me!

I think you have two issues: ABS and clutch. The fault codes listed seem to be engine related: 00513 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28) 00525 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor (G39) Regarding the ABS problem, you need the fault codes from the ABS module. Do you have access to VagCom/VCDS or such like? The ABS light can illuminate for many reasons - a faulty wheel sensor, or failing the power-on tests on the modulator. The only way to decide where to go next is guidance from the fault codes...

Anyone happen to have the part numer of the AC compressor from a 95 VR6 ?
Philly-R6 replied to Mawrick's topic in Engine Bay
It depends on your air con type: R12 or R134A http://www.vagcat.com/epc/cat/vw/COR/1995/76/50/843570/#4 357 820 803J refrigerant compressor with electro-magnetic coupling / F >> 50-N-020 000 SD-V-710 R12 -OR- 357 820 803R refrigerant compressor with electro-magnetic coupling / F 50-P-000 001>> R134A -
Hi, I have a good condition grey leather interior set from a late model VR6 Corrado (1995), comprising: * heated front grey leather seats * switch, relays and wiring harnesses for heated seats * rear seats (does not include warning triangle or first aid kit) * front leather door cards (compatible with late-model window switches, 1992-onward) * rear door cards * standard grey A, B and C pillar plastics * grey parcel shelf and grey rear speaker mounts (worked to accept larger speakers) * central tunnel trim - clad with grey leather * grey carpet set, including boot In terms of condition, the seating itself is in above-good condition for a 1995 manufacture date, but is nonetheless not perfect. Wear is commensurate with age, but with no rips or tears to report. It would appear that the two front seats have, to some extent, been restored in their lifetime by a previous owner. The door cards are similar in condition, with commensurate wear and just require re-gluing. All plastic mouldings are in good condition. The panel over the central tunnel has been custom-trimmed with a complementing grey leather. Condition is good mindful of its cabin position and exposure to wear/damage. The carpet set is in good condition, but shall require cleaning. No cutting/ripping, or noticeable burns to report. http://s410.photobucket.com/user/philip_grogan/library/Corrado%20Interior I am looking for £650 as a whole ( based upon this thread: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?50293-Grey-leather-interior-value ). However, I'm open to a best-offer. I am located in South Manchester, near to Manchester Airport. I am away until 23rd June, but I can get additional photos on my return if required.

vagcat claims they are "4x9x8x1,2" http://www.vagcat.com/epc/cat/vw/COR/1995/76/56/848064/#12 Rivet diameter 4mm and length 9mm - could Cressa measure the real item? Reference: http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/A-Guide-to-Rivet-Sizes-by-www-abouttownbolts-co-uk-/10000000019327603/g.html

Is this Bentley page regarding testing gauges any use? http://www.bentleypublishers.com/tech/vw/bentley.vw1301.testing.htm

I could be missing what you are really asking, but un-plug the wiring harness (should be attached to the rear engine mount - on right hand side of car) and unscrew the actual sensor from the exhaust.

I agree - that site is excellent. http://en.chateau-de-chanteloup.com/ We have two plots booked on the front lawn, near the swimming pool - come and find us! Look for a red/white R1 / red SLK / red Integrale / red Hilux and dark grey Insignia...

Permissions - VW Heritage details
Philly-R6 replied to Philly-R6's topic in Site Comments and Questions
Thank you for your responses. Reproduction steps: Scroll to the bottom of the main forum page to the "Club discounts and Advice" section Click "Other Discounts" Click "VW Heritage" You will be presented with one item named "Details", which is inaccessible The summaries indicate we are entitled to 5% discount. I was hoping the details thread contained a code we can stick in the VW Heritage checkout page... I will contact t700bes directly. -
Hi, I believe I have access to the "Details" thread of "Forum: VW Heritage" (http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?93118-Details), but I am denied permission to view it. Is there a problem with that thread or is it my account? (I'm pretty sure I renewed on 1st September 2015). Many thanks

You can try vagcat.com (http://www.vagcat.com/epc/cat/vw/COR/1995/76/52/845368) which requires free registration (you may have to make a post in the forum for the initial access?). Or Jim Ellis (http://www.jimellisvwparts.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=741680&ukey_make=1066&ukey_model=15552&modelYear=1995&ukey_category=21731&ukey_driveLine=8034&ukey_trimLevel=18933) which is free but don't think you see UK specific parts.

evo magazine looking to feature a corrado...
Philly-R6 replied to tonytiger's topic in General Car Chat
My copy of evo arrived today (220 - April 2016) and there is a feature on a Mystic Blue Storm (N4 AMA). -
I like your idea. Did you consider an OEM-like connector? Something like: VW USB Block&Cable for RCD510 RCD310 USB AUX Switch Cable Harness RCD510 RCD300 Admittedly, the other end of these leads would require modification to accept the standard connectors from your head unit...

Bentley Publisers have some interesting information regarding testing gauges: GUAGE AND INSTRUMENT TESTING WITH SPECIAL TOOL VW 1301

Hi Diarmaid, I'll take this kit off you. I remember missing out by a few days on the previous listing! Phil

Cool! Count me in - I'll take it. What do we do about money?

Hi MDM, I am interested in the "resonated cat back system with polished oval tip" (System Number: MCXVW212), if we can get a group deal sorted. What sort of timescale are you thinking of, before ordering your system? Lastly, please could you confirm we get all the required mounts/clamps/fasteners in the kit? The Milltek site infers only the exhaust "pipes" are supplied? http://www.millteksport.com/exhaust.products.cfm?variantid=1503 Also available on that page is a fitting manual.

From memory, it looks like the connector panel for the two wires to the OBD port. It should clip onto the brass/gold metal plate from the transmission tunnel supporting the centre console.

Hi,
Yeah I've still got it. Give me a shout if you need any more information.

Jim Ellis VW Parts exposes the parts catalog, if you don't want to register: http://www.jimellisvwparts.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=739482&ukey_make=1066&ukey_model=15552 Hey Jim, What is the knack to insert the four rubber mountings into the engine carrier/front subframe/cross member?

Hi, If you are in Stockport, check out Ian at Taylormade in Hazel Grove. http://www.taylormade-bodyrepair.co.uk/body-restoation/ He's done work on my Impreza and the quality of his work was very impressive. My Corrado is penciled in for new year. On an amusing side story: My mate has an Octavia VRS and over the summer a large bubble appeared in the paint on the bonnet. Ian immediately said it's had a previous repair on the bonnet as it was a different shade to the rest of the car - plus you can see the sanding marks half way up the bonnet! I like to think I'm on the ball with cars, but I didn't see any of that until it was shown to me.

Hi, I may be able to assist you. This layout is like looking into the car through the windscreen. >> CorradoHeatedSeatsLayout.jpg The relay assembly screws onto the metal structure behind the passenger side rear door card. The harness then follows the other wiring along the floor by the passenger door. The wiring branches off to the seats at the T-junction - follow the other harnesses over the tunnel to the drivers seat. The main harness continues along the floor and up past the ABS module to behind the dash (where the passenger door harness connects to the car harnesses). I think the second harness follows the other harnesses along the top of the dashboard. Wiring connections: The harness is grounded to the stud by the relay assembly (Brown wire with ring connector). Power comes in via the Black wire (Green plug) which plugs into the grey strip/block ( TV5 ) above the fusebox. Illumination for the switch is supplied through the Grey/Blue wire (Grey plug) which plugs into the grey strip/block ( TV8 ) above the fusebox. Heated seats switch goes in the bottom location, next to the instrument binnacle. http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp189/philip_grogan/Corrado%20Heated%20Seats/CorradoHeatedSeatsWiringDiagram_zps3qdklnap.jpg Hope this helps!
