Think I might do something silly and run my vr for 3 months. So how much is either 6 months or 12 months. I will buy what ever works out cheaper per month then reclaim in October.

just a refurb on the tank straps this week. Oh that puddle just water from the exhaust draining while cars jacked up..... next months projects new alarm and sort a few minor parking dings out.

decided on a toad alarm the ai606 but need to get one fitted.... any recommendations someone that will come out to me as car is not on road at moment.... either a national company that will travel or someone local to the Aylesbury thame area. cheers.... don't really want any cowboy working on the corrado.

Mine were easy... Bolt head a bit rusty. But screw thread still zinc coated.

Doing my own... Advantage that cars not in regular use. So supporting tank for a few weeks while it gets done isn't an issue.

That first one comes with driver and side airbags... That must be super rare on a UK model.

I try and follow the values of our German counterparts. If this was lhd it would make 8k in Germany.

Guess it's better to play safe. Little scissor jack should do the job.

If you can afford to keep the car in storage, I'd go this route. Shame to get rid of a nice car. It's not like a Ford Focus that you could buy another tomorrow. And you have put a lot of time into it. But I guess there other reasons behind the decision.

Having a bit of a refurb on the rear. If I remove the 2 tank straps on the drivers side and leave the one on the passenger side on. Is the tank going to drop to one side or will it need supporting. Currently minimal fuel in the tank so it doesn't weigh a lot.

Looks lovely... I'm waiting for the how much ! It's worth what peeps want to pay.. It's about time these cars go for a decent price. Try and test the market. Does that hand brake need adjusting :)

From what I've seen karmannski development looks better at present. he has a you tube video of his development. Dunno how he's getting on with the end caps. But the chap in Germany has produced some decent end caps. These German roof trims don't seem to have the metal internal strip running the full length like the OEM strips, karmnnskiski's has incorporated it into his design. Don't really know the advantage, other than more rigid. Karmnnski is currently looking at getting the exposed surface texture correct. Like the OEM strips, So watch this space... Not seen samples of either just pictures of both, the German solution is good at present. I've waited x years a few more won't hurt... Just my 2 pence worth...

Is it a corrado one or golf.. The one for a corrado is slightly angled... I have a few new badges in stock and a few not so new... Your badge looks good.

Hoping not.. I had a go with a rattle can once it was rubbish... Think the clue is I bought a new badge off eBay..
