okay I know some of you love your watches as much as you corrado..... Im looking for a new watch and no suggestions please from the argos catalogue.... I know its a personal thing but dunno really whats good and whats a bit of a gimmick. looked at a tag yesterday that was reduced to £700 and quite like the look of an Oakley that I saw in Covent garden.... I'm not really a watch wearer but want to replace a watch that is 19 years old that I had on my 21st birthday. I expect the new watch to last until im 60 :) so where do I look and at what brands.

No not a forum car as I'm aware. Re servicing.... My VR is a one owner with 40k on the clock. I do most of the easy servicing my self using VAG parts or the best parts I can find if they are obsolete. Every thing else ie big jobs I have done by my local vw independant. I keep a record of parts problems service, bit like a diary. And have every mot tax disc and recipe from day one. If your new to corrado and vw ownership. Dealers still stock some parts, failing that vw heritage or vw classic parts and vw spares online are great for aftermarket parts.

Yes it was on ebay re advertised again and in auto trader... You could of bought your x rado for cheaper.

And we thought you were going to part x your green baby for it :)

one of the three on ebay is a storm with 155K on the clock....

How would you describe / what would you expect to find if you went to look at a car that was advertised "barn find". I'm looking on the first page I've come to on ebay after searching corrado. And find 3 corrados for sale that say barn find.... I'm thinking I should be looking at a car covered in dust and cobwebs with maybe a few bits of hay on it. Maybe seized brakes from where it been standing and very low mileage... But no a couple of nice examples from the outlook well looked after....

I'm still after some clear headlight protectors and also the indicator and fogs, rob not even selling them on eBay any more. He must have too much work on....

I've always wanted a mk2 golf, and when looking for an oak green three door in 1994' I some how managed to buy a 16valve corrado. And there was no looking back since.... Anyway I need another toy, and Xmas bonus coming round... Without me joining a golf forum wonder if I could gather some knowledge. Difference in the model range 8 v 16 v gti. When did they change big/ small bumper What model is most desirable, what do I need to look for when buying. Was there a limited production run on the oak green like a rado storm ?
