  1. Pm me some payment details. PayPal okay ?
  2. Some people fit draught excluder 3m strips along the inner wing edge. It stops the pool of water on the battery. And the battery tray going rusty which is a common problem...
  3. as above do all four caliper and the nipples in the engine bay..... I always put a g clamp on the brake compensator..... took me about 5 goes to get mine right..... wooshing sound .... are you by the seaside ??

  7. jolly good... did ya get some new axle stands with it ???? was thinking about buying a set from either sgs with the additional rubber pads or a nice yellow set from Halfords..... is ratchet better than the conventional pin in hole

  10. The quality of the OEM mats have gone down since I bought my first set in 1994. Personally I don't have a problem with the black dealers mats. At 65 ish quid of ebay.... I do have a few sets in back up.... However I do see a market for a quality set in other colours which are obsolete.... Grey and beige. But a limited market.
  11. I've just put a new OEM exhaust on my vr. I say exhaust I really mean the back two sections.... I will eventually need the sausage shaped silencer that joins to the cat. Chatting to classic parts they still can supply it for just over £250 delivered ouch...... I've got a few plans either bite the bullet and buy it. Get me mate to fabricate one for me in stainless (he builds exhaust for race cars) I have a new dented walker exhaust he can use as a pattern at he moment..... Or to save him the hassle does anyone know if any exhaust manufacture makes this part to fit the OEM exhaust, which would be off the shelf and made of stainless.... And better quality than the walker I have.. Hope you get my drift in what I want........ Or should I bite the bullet and get the correct one
  12. white rado not sure of what flavour... in princess risborough round about 3.30 this afternoon...... was 2 cars back at the traffic lights outside marks n sparks
  13. Could sound a bit clattery initially until oil gets round the system. Can you turn it over manually....
  14. Oooo lovely car.... Some nice motors at fletch dale..... Not seen your rado round my local area yet. Was it bought as a toy or daily.
  15. Update.... Well pleased with jack.
  16. cheers vag-hag..... I don't anticipate any problems..... looks very well made. just primed the jack and removed the wire..... just about to lift the audi up to see if it works...
  17. Arcan suggests 5 with no load... To get to half metre..... Not tried it though. Equivalent sgs which 2.5 t rating.... 9 pumps to get to 460mm dunno if this is loaded...
  18. 2yr warrantee for what I use the jack for ain't a lot.... If I was using every day I could see the advantage..... I suspect I will only use it half a dozen times in 2 years. If it goes wrong I will just buy something else.... No complaints yet from rest of forum..... and by the time you parcel it up and sent it back to the manufacture... you might as well buy a new one....
