For most i would assume it's our first car. Mine was a J reg nissan micra, aka the trolly, tin can on wheels or the silver turd (car is silver and reg was J URD) It's turned into a 'hand me down' i borrowed it of my sister not so long ago and drove it to colchester, was amazed at how unsafe i felt in it!

urmmmmm.........its like water has somehow got under it and separated it from the paint! when the car is wet you don't notice them but when dry i have little raised "bubbles"......
-
would be useful, just to be able to know about things like Cheesewire's 3rd brake light etc.......
-
Or give you a wiper motor and try to convince you that it is the correct part........

Spose the problem is, if they're that cheap and effective then why are cars still made with aerials? The Saab one works well though!
-
Welcome matey! Is it just me or does the contrast and shine in the 1st pic make it look like a painting?
-
dr_mat, spot on...exactly the right thing to do IMHO

Hi all, On my old car i'm trying to sell (no not the A3 in the for sale bit) lacquer bubbles have developed on the bonnet, while it has been sitting on my drive. Is there anything that can be done to remove, cover up or disguise it? Many thanks......
-
Yeah the can be replaced by themselves, remove both adjusters and they come out........there is a website where you can buy all the bits separately from, links on here somewhere. i think it was used when people were talking about he inpro indicators........

No idea, its just looks like a black square a few mm thick. Goes in the bottom left corner as normal and holds the tax disc as well..
-
My mums Saab 95 doesn't have an external aerial, instead the aerial is the tax disc holder, works well....

Gah forgot about VAT, still it comes to £49.12
-
£36.85 + delivery from here.... Clickage....

Yeah, would say it should be around £40 for the leads and £20 for the plugs. Went into halfords to ask how much a set of bosch leads would cost, reply was £135!!

To the right hand side of the engine at the front, follow the fuel lines to the normal injectors and you should have an extra one going into a device that sits horizontal to the engine, should have a blue plug with wires on top of it....
-
Couple of things to check......there is an ISV on the right hand side give this a good clean with some carb cleaner. you also have a "5th" cold start injector on the end of the rails going sideways into the inlet, it'll be worth checking to see if this is behaving itself

Hello and welcome, have a trawl through the "insurance" section of the forum, loads of good companies mentioned in the there. Good luck with the corrado hunt! your bank balance will never be the same again....
-
Humm that doesn't sound good, best of luck!

Not dangerous but you'll probably end up at the side of the road with no water as it all drains out the overflow.......the risk is up to you.
-
loads of similar posts coming in at the moment, if the pipe isn't heating then there must be a blockage.....the most likely is that the thermostat isn't opening or the water pump isn't turning, changing them is fiddly but worth wile.

The KR cam is more rounded to the top, the later engines had 50mm inlets......you can tell the difference as the 42mm ones have ridges on and a stamp on the 1st inlet. check this out for reference http://www.the-corrado.net/wiki/index.php/16v_Tuning_Guide

Not sure about what your after but I got another Imob socket of these people, not exactly cheap though for a bit of plastic and wires, but it was the only place i could find it. http://abacuscaralarms.co.uk/store/ Hope its of help

use this company http://www.vwspares.co.uk/, you'll only get given a part for a saab 95 or something if you go to gsf. plugs are easy to check and cheap to change if you need too, HT leads are going to cost you over £50 a set, but if the other ones are knackered then you going to have to get them. You have 2 coolant sensors in the side of the engine, one for the gauge and the other to signal the ecu, the ecu one i believe you have to get from the dealers. You have a 5th cold start injector on the right had side of the engine block on the end of the fuel rails with a blue plug on it, this will need to be checked. Oh and check the battery is putting out around 13.5 volts without the engine started as a weak battery will always play up in this weather. Just some things to get you started........ Best of luck
