Take the headlight moosh it adds an extra 10hp :D :? I bet it costs me more in fuel than it does you Chris I have to do a round trip of 250miles just to compete and then theres the fuel bill the entrance fee and the sighning on fee all in all I think it costs me around £60 to go to santa pod :? And chris you dont have to race me if you dont want there's always plenty of other cars to race!!! You and Chris were having close runs!!! I want to run against that Civic type R again he only just had me last time!!! So come on Darren do you think your £250 shed :D will be able to compete against my yellow banana!!

I think you should leave it how it is Dan it adds a bit of individuality to the back end which can only be a good thing! :D P.s wheres the exhaust tailpipe you can't see it in the picture!! :?

Haven't decided yet Dubcharged maybe AMD as I have heard they are quite good with custom chips or maybe the sns chip but still haven't found enough people to give me feedback on them on how good they actually are I know you are gonna say that they are excellent but then again you are biassed as you work for them :D But as I have said before I am in no real hurry as plans have been put on hold until I have shelled out the £800 my insurers are robbing me for this year so I have plenty of time to make my mind up. I ve got a question for you tho the power graphs on the sns website are they power at the wheels or at the flywheel for the no lag chip, I will have the by the time I get the new chip a 68mm pulley, 260deg cam, stg4 jabba rebuild, charge cooler, Isv re route, 3.5 bar FPR so that would be 5-3/4 chip the car is already putting in the region of 200bhp @ flywheel without the charge cooler, cam, and FPR what would you hazzard a guess at the power figures with a sns stg 5-3/4 chip be with everything on!!

Yeah got it sorted mate it was where I had taken the headlight out and the wiring must have earthed on the bodywork at some point. See you at the next one I might be going up on the 16th now as I have really got the strip fever just cant get enough!! Want to get my times down to the mid 14's and next time when I'm up against the scooby I'll be able to keep up with it he beat me by 2 seconds with a 14.569 and I finished with a 16.519 but I had a lowsey start and span it off the line which slowed me down!!

I think the only difference in models are the VR6's all the other corrado's use the same setup as far as I am aware could be wrong tho!!! :(

I ve had this problem and it was down to a dodgy oil pump does the light and buzzer come on if you go round a corner quite fast!! the oil pump will cost about £50 I think from euro car parts with the gasketsv which aint too bad. an oil pressure gauge could be quite handy to diagnose the problem a bit better

Low G and endor71 Give me a bell on 07740482464 and anyone else who wants one to sort out payment details and things. I need tyhe money upfront by the end of the week as my insurance is due on saturday which is crippling me a bit so money that I ve spent buying the FPR's needs to be recovered quickly. Dubcharged I ve got a jabba chip in mine at the minute which I will be changing for a mapable one as soon as I can afford it I'm buying the FPR first so it's done and out of the way ready for the custom chip and cam to go in, I know I wont get any gains as such until I ve sorted the fueling side of things but it cant hurt to run it on the jabba chip until I get the new one can it. You never know the jabba chip might work a bit better with the FPR on as it's a pile of sh*t at the moment not happy with it at all!!!

I'll have the charge cooler on next time chris so I will still probably be whipping your arse!!! :D :D SORRY!!! :D

Santa pod on sunday was a godd day out it looked as though it was only me and the 2 chris's from the forum that turned up but we managed to get quite few runs in I pesonally went up the strip 12 times my best time was 15.4 which wasn't bad as I had a bit of trouble with the timing advance bolt coming undone on the distributer which advanced the timing to a misfire I managed to get it back to the original mark though as I had previously marked it thak god!!! heres a couple of pics that I took!!
-
I ve managed to find a supplier for the FPR I can do them for £40 + Vat I have been able to get 5 of them to start off with and have 4 up for sale as I need 1 myself so if you want one let me know!!! :D
-
Munkay Bosch Uk cant get them until the end of march full stop!!! I know they're a porsche 944 turbo part the Bosch #0280-160-263 but all the suppliers that I have spoken to have been unable to get hold of them apart from 1 supplier that has possibly got them on the shelf but I wont find out for sure until tomorrow so fingers crossed that they'll have them and at a decent price the only other source that have got them that I know of is a company in america who are a bit cheaper than BBM but you get stunned with the import taxes that way that will make them more expensive!!!
-
I might have found another source I'm not going to reveal it at this stage but it looks very positive at the moment so I'll let everyone know when I have confirmation!!!
-
Just to confirm what dubcharged has already said the 3.5 FPR isn't available till the end of march, my supplier hadn't checked to see if they could get em beforethey quoted on them!! BUGGER!!!
-
How much did it cost in the end, and what was the extent of the damage? Or shouldn't I ask :(
-
G60Jet The part number for the FPR is 0280-160-263
-
Ahh I see I will double check tomorrow. Euro car parts use original bosch as well so thats why they haven't been able to get them then OH BUGGER!!! I'll have one of your FPR's off you for £40 :D
-
I spoke to our supplier today and he said that they could get hold of them direct from bosch and that they had stock weather this is completely true or not is another matter, as I also spoke to Euro car parts who have had them on back order for the last month or so!!! The prices I ve been getting are £33 + vat from euros and £32 + vat at trade from parts direct which equates to £39 inc vat so If I can get hold of them then I'll ordera few!!
-
I'll double check with our supplier then dont want to get the wrong part now do we? :(
-
I ve got the genuine bosch number for the 3.5bar FPR so it should be right first time!!!!
-
Hi there guys just wondering if any of you lot would be interested in a group buy for a 3.5 bar FPR I ve been speaking to one of our suppliers about the FPR and they said they can do them for around £32 +vat the only problem is that they have to get them direct from bosch which costs £7 in courier charges each time, but if say 5 were ordered it would only cost each person an extra £1 or so. I want to do this mod myself so if any of you guys are interested let me know, it will work out a hell of alot cheaper than getting one from BBM. Cheers Ant

Might as well start a new thread each time Chris as this one would get over packed! Santa pod holds usually about 2 or 3 RWYB's a month whenever there isn't another event being held there basically!!
-
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D See you there dud bwoy!!! :D
-
Jabba Sport last year but since then I think the power has rapidly dropped as the car seems to run very rich ie: 3.5% so I think I'll be changing the chip shortly to see if that makes any difference!!
