changed my clutch but it still slips wtf??

take the slave cylinder out,check the seal.if ok check if oil is leaking from crank seal behind the flywheel or sump gasket. Have you checked the flywheel surface before you put the clutch back on?clutches only work if surface theyre attaching to is flat and not distorted -
sorry dude been away, yes the big nut is the one to loosen but if its goosed youll have to remove it by loosing off the black plastic one(one below the big one!)

try replace the valve on the heater pipes with copper pipe as said. mine was acting up,now ive got full heat,ready for a cold winter! if it works try replace the valve as its a failsafe device if heater matrix blows through system overpressurizing dont know if they have this part anymore

easy on a g60 too alex.just bit more fiddly with boost pipes and fan in the way but just as easy

id disconnect the battery,sods law what would happen if it didnt. :shock: yeap its a easy job like DG said

you need to hold the plastic speedo worm gear with i think 24mm spanner try see if the worm gear pops out

wd40 and some thick guage wire(welding rod or something like) cause you end up with seals stuck in the injector holes,hard to get at. And dont forget to depressurize the fuel system

its the silver piece connected inline on the one of the heater hoses isnt it? havent had a proper look yet but wheres does the smaller diameter pipe go if i delete the valve? worth pluging up?

ahhh... cheers david.wondered why the heating matrix wasnt putting much heat out on three or four.now know why. two birds with one stone.

mine does that too,if i put it to two it seems to work,sometimes three.My US model i had would melt the windscreen compared to this one i have now :( d Think mine has a tiny leak,getting sweet smell when i turn it on first thing. :sleeping: i put a hose to one side and flushed it through with water hose.made it bit better Think we both need answer on this. :norty: -
have you taken the exchanger completely off?

could be the oil cooler/exchanger seal is on the way out.oil in coolant-usually exchanger.coolant in oil- sometimes HG,or exchanger let it cool down completely then check to see if its oil.

if you have a aftermarket ecu,by all means use wide band youll get maximum tunning ability with it.im saving up to run dta s60 with wideband, egt, crank trigger, wasted spark system(or coil on pack),maybe if i have enough patience a drive by wire system. but putting and wideband sensor on a narrow band system is just a waste of money tbh as your only getting the 0-1volt switching(same as stock one).

Ive fitted ASD box to my g60. Nice long fifth.sits at 2300 at 70 mph.much better for fuel and easier on my charger

there is two oil pressure switches on the oil filter housing.One high pressure,one low pressure. When the engine is running if the pressure goes out of these limits the buzzer will sound. check the wiring isnt loose. the switches can fail(mine started leaking oil!)

i think you mean narrow band mate :lol: all g60s use narrow band.

about 11 psi on new run-in charger on standard pulley im pretty sure,someone correct me please if im wrong Less than 8 psi start looking at getting charger serviced Done another test today,got 200 again full throttle and when to 30 on overrun so either mines screwy or im running in vacuam at full throttle?

I had a US model g60 with aircon and had similar problem but because you were rude you can look for the answer eslsewhere

Dont take these reads as gospel.i done the mfa test and it said i was running on full throttle at 5900 rpm 200-230(23-20 psi in vacunm).Put a boost guage and done the same a got 10 psi on standard pulley Like everything electrical on this car,dont just trust the display

Roger that mate :salute: over here theyve dropped the price of petrol,now at 1.36 euro.im going back to uk on 8th or 9th of october so it should be interesting on fuel :pale: give it a good run and see if it helps
