  1. Headlight glass and binacle covers and headlight switch please......I guess it'll only be one postage? :)
  2. Very nice mate......and super clean 8)
  3. I used Shiply to get quotes for moving a Corrado from Bury st Edmonds to Glasgow....320miles and the quotes ranged from £1200 to about £400.....ended up being lucky as a guy bid late on, just as I was about to accept the £400 ......got it done for £250. It's mostly down to finding someone going the right way at the right time :)
  4. Mosspark , Glasgow Twilight Voilet VR6 Classic Green Storm VR6 Red VR6 Aqua blue VR6-breaker Yes, I am sick
  5. I've also got one, not fitted yet but as above the quality of work looks very good. I'll be more than happy to fit it :)
  6. Thanks mate  I can't believe how well the leather is turning out, I've only done the bits in the pics with 2 coats so far and already they look magic 8)
  7. That windscreen must be as bad as mine
  8. I'm really not sure mate, it does seem to dry very well but that's without any real testing, I'll probably just go with it and see how it goes, if it starts to wear off I'll redo my seat(the others will be mostly empty) then seal
  9. Surprisingly no mate, I had this one from years ago, never got round to using it. We did have a good one on one of the breakers but that was sold ages ago now sadly. :)
  10. I have a bolster from a passenger seat mate, very nice it is too :)
  11. What are you sealing it with Rob, I used this stuff as it claims to have built in sealents? I was just going to do my 4 coats and be done? Happy to seal if necessary though :) I'm planning to swap the bolster as well, no tearing/holes which is good. I could also do with swapping out the upper foam bolster but not sure how easy that would be? What's up with yours?
  12. It is very satisfying to see it coming along mate, I guess I could have lived with it but I'd never have been happy, my phone pictures aren't the best, I've got better ones on my camera but that takes time to do and it's just so easy on the phone. Close up here shows it up for how it is, the colour differences between the sides and front is quite significant.......until now :)
  13. I have no real plans yet mate, the decision on its future will be made when myself and Goldie get a chance to look over it properly, the engine issues won't be what decides it though as these things are easy enough. Bodywork will though. As you say, it was cheap enough so we won't lose out either way. I love them in red though  Anyway, did some more leather dying last night, pictures don't overly show it but the dye is great. Only done 2 coats so far but will eventually do 4 on everything One on the right is dyed
  14. Try unplugging the electrical plug on the 5th injector, mine was faulty on my old valver, constantly overfueling......I ran it unplugged for years without any problems
  15. I've been buying stuff on here for years, far far too much stuff if I'm honest, that includes parts and cars btw. I've been stung at least twice, first time I remember was for a set of springs, second time was for some trim items. Both purchases were from new-ish users and I just put it down to that, no decent reputation . I didn't get any refunds either. I also didn't spit the dummy, I just realised that I had to buy off trusted folk if I didn't want let down.
  16. I've bought various things from Tom over the years and they have always been well priced and as described. He also went well out of his way to meet up with me near Preston with various panels for my twilight VR. I would say he has an excellent reputation on here and has also offered lots of help on various mechanical topics. Mistakes happen and it's unfortunate but Tom is a decent guy so maybe cut him some slack
  17. So, it was a nice day yesterday and as I got the latest VR6 home(had it in the work car park since collecting it as I had to get rid of a breaker to move this in ) Out with this In with this This is the latest one myself and another Corrado lunatic(Goldie)have halved in for, fingers crossed it can be saved but it'll need a good look underneath to make sure it's not a sieve. Anyway, we bought it with a hot start issue which the seller confirmed was fuel related......I wonder what could be the issue? Mmmm, maybe this comedy fuel pressure regulator? Also this is fitted but not likely to be an issue but both are leaving ASAP anyway Got the FPR off yesterday but as soon as I connected the battery the alarm was going off constantly, and it's very loud, so had to be happy with the fact it fired up. Next thing I'll do is disable the siren/find out the alarm issue. And as its a Corrado it wasn't letting me away lightly as the Z end of the bonnet release cable snapped off  It's off!
  18. Quick healing knuckles
  19. Welcome along, seems corrados are well priced where you are
  20. Thank you mate, it's a great forum, very friendly and full of very knowledgable people(I don't include myself as one of them :) )
  21. No worries mate, your seat is looking great(saw it on FB) , I've just had no time to do any more yet......need to re glue the door card leather too before I can do them
