  1. The fuel pump relay and ecu relay are worth checking but I'm unsure if they would suffer an instant failure like you had, can't see why not though
  2. The middle one is red, is that a late one? Would be good if so :)
  3. Best put up a price and a picture or 2
  4. Anytime you like mate :)
  5. I always loved the colour and when it popped up I just bought it on a whim, everyone that comes here comments on it, so they are well liked......but I'm only really liking Corrado's and have decided there is no point kidding myself on otherwise:) Oh, and I think you made the correct choice 8)
  6. My hoarding knows no bounds mate  Bought it as a non runner, got it going without too much fuss, then bought the Storm and it has sat there since.......I'm gonna sell it soon as I'm never gonna use it, it needs a bit of welding underneath so will be priced accordingly......and if it doesn't go, I'll do the welding and mot it and double my price :)
  7. Decided to start taking the front end off the red one this evening, wasn't long until I ran into a few rusty screws that half dissolved as soon as I showed them the screwdriver, 4 out of 6 on the fog light housings needed drilled out, 2 were missing already so someone has tried before  Also the n/s fog light plug wasn't attached so that explains why it didn't work :) I got them off eventually and surprisingly the headlight screws all came out cleanly. Got that far and I need to stop as I don't like clattering about too late at night :) I'm planning on taking the full front end off as I need to sort an oil leak on the oil filter housing and possibly the cooler and I want to swap both front wings at the same time......then I can get to the back
  8. Nothing wrong with a colour coded grill, especially on darker colours. I quite liked my Twilight one that way anyway:)
  9. These please mate, assuming the early sunroof switch is the small single one? Also, was gonna message you to see if you had a decent late passenger wing? :)
  10. Me too, also liking the Monte Carlo's......I'll definitely be running one of these 2 sets as soon as I get the time to get the red VR on the road, possibly just swap between them 8)
  11. Indeed there are, but it's all good  Here you go mate
  12. I managed to complete my collection of original choice 15" wheels, many thanks to Goldie who collected the brands hatch alloys for me today and dropped them off too 8) The RM's are not strictly for the Corrado's as they are 4x100 but worth a picture:) Also got 15 bbs rz's somewhere
  13. I'll take the clocks please posted to Glasgow and also the slam panel if you can post it?
  14. We will be getting more, sadly it's not an instant thing but it is under way, I'll post up as soon as more arrive :)
  15. I'm about most of the weekend mate, except tonight..... I'll pm you details
  16. Yes mate, I have one here......you want to collect? :)
  17. A fairly easy check to see where it is, is to get a water mist spray and give it a wee spray in the dark when the engine is running and you'll see blue sparks where/if it's arcing. If the leads have been removed at any point without the tool, there is a fair chance that there might be the odd wee tear in the rubber as pulling them out isn't good(not saying you did this btw :) )
  18. Double and triple check that the leads are seated correctly on the plugs......I had one (back middle) that was almost on but not quite and caused an intermittent misfire.......also have seen people put them on in the wrong order, it runs, just not well. Do you have a lead removal/refitting tool?
  19. Tasteful modifications for me are good, and there are few better examples out there than Goldie's car.....those wheels are just amazing8) Also really like Jamie's red one, looks so good in this pic
  20. I'd take a few or a couple if you had any spares mate :)
