I'll look for you when I get home tonight mate, as far as I recall they are surprisingly long machine screws, but that could be nonsense...... I'll check later
-
Can I take it posted please :)

Really poor photos, I thought they were ok Can't remember which is which, but as far as I recall, the dials on the sharan one wind the opposite way, but work just fine
-
Yes, and although it looks like there is no surround, the circular bits at the side are the surround. It must fit into that shape hole in a sharan where as the Corrado hole is a rectangle. I have pictures somewhere of when I did the outer casing swap, I'll see if I can find them

I have a chipolo https://chipolo.net I was given it and I set it up and stuck it on my keys, haven't lost them yet but it does track them on a map so I guess it would help you find your car if it was stolen,I don't think the battery life can be that long though? So I guess if you remember to change the battery a couple of times it'll be worth a try

The switch from a sharan/galaxy will work and will fit, it's just not quite the correct shape as the Corrado one. I got one and swapped the internals into my switch as my ones dials were delaminating . Plus they are usually much cheaper than a Corrado one

Deal done already mate :)

She has mate, although she does despair:lol:

It's all good fun mate, I plan for the red one to be my daily and don't want to take too long getting it sorted. I'm up at the crack of dawn to head over to the other side of the country to hopefully pick up a couple of wings and a door, in the correct colour but if they are rough I think the guy has better ones in other colours. I'm trying to cut down on the amount of cars I have ,6 at the moment:lol:

Had a wee bit of time today, so dropped the fuel tank off the red VR and removed the rear bumper to check the extent of the rust round the filler cap area and the arch/bumper supports etc. The filler cap area is fairly bad, it'll need most of the recessed bit replaced, which I'm going to cut out/fabricate/weld myself  The arch has rust all round but it's not too deep, no holes, so that will get treated only. There is a small hole at the back under the badges which will need a wee welded patch. This picture is difficult to explain, the hole at the top is where the fuel cap lock mechanism cover is meant to attach to, it's completely rotted away so that'll need a piece welded in too :)

How about £35? :)

I'm in a similar position, I picked up a set of leather recaros a while ago but not looked into fitting yet, as above the heating loom is the same, I have the correct movement loom and I will stick a picture of it up later on. There is someone on here who did it recently with a write up in his thread, I'll try and find that too

Pictures on the 2nd page of this http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?91151-tailgate-glass-seal

Good to know mate :)
-
Do you mean on the rear hatch or the back quarterlight? Either way, both glasses are bonded in so there will be no easy string method. The quarterlights rubber and glass are the one unit and need to be cut out carefully so you can rebond them in again. The rear hatch rubber seal can be prised out, if you are lucky, I tried 2 at the weekend, one ripped, one came out ok, using some heat and wd40, the glass is still bonded in at this point but it might give you enough access with out removing, if not its cutting time

Of course mate, PM coming your way :)

I have the illness real bad, I will never count up what I've spent  -
Looks too nice to break? Why are you breaking it?
-
A wee bit more advice, that can only help you and anyone looking. Could you put up a list of actual bits with prices/pictures ? I usually buy something or other from a breaking car but can't be bothered with the whole asking how much is the interior questions etc, then does it all work properly ? The more info you give the easier it will sell I'm only trying to help as it'll be one of the first thing an admin will pull you up for.

Sent you an email mate :)
