  1. Got to love a shiny red Corrado.......and that one is very shiny, not usually a fan of those lights but in the setting with the car looking so clean, they don't look as horrible as usual.
  2. No thanks necessary mate, it's a pleasure to work(considering how little I've done)on such a nice car :afro:
  3. Parachuting Orthodontist?
  4. The part number is the same as the grey unit......I have compared them side by side. I'm sure there will be other numbers but I was comparing it to one from a mk3 golf highline
  5. My original quote was of your advice on the gear linkage cable, hence me saying it had nothing to do with the original topic, while I was doing that you edited your post with the correct information. No stress mate, just made my comment look a wee bit out of place :)
  6. Good luck with sales......I'll be keeping an eye out
  7. Looks like 10 to me.....it's page 20 now
  8. Goldie has a set for sale at the moment http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=88361&page=16
  9. Mine was a really sluggish starter, to the point I very nearly bought a starter motor, then one day it wouldn't start at all, I bought an ignition switch and it worked first time, and my starter was much much much better. Not saying that's your problem but if it's never been done it's probably a good idea
  10. If that's the right one (can't check on my phone) then it's a bargain, I bought one almost 2 years ago from vw and it was £32 if I remember correctly
  11. Have a look at these, found previously by science http://www.tdnparts.com/corrado-eurolight-lock-knobs-with-adjustor-knobs/
  12. Nice, what paint did you use?
  13. You could bypass the ignition switch , which will rule it in/out http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=3167&highlight=Ignition+switch+bypass

    Orange G60

Not exactly liking the colour, but it looks very clean and well looked after
  15. And check you have the leads on the correct part of the coil, it'll still run if you swap one over, just not very well, and yes, I have experienced this
  16. It was listed as a potentiometer when I bought it.....sadly I couldn't tell you the difference between that and a switch:)
  17. I chased a poor running/bad idle for ages on my old valver (9a) and found the cause by fluke, 2 of the 3 wires were split for the throttle potentiometer (TPS) which is attached to the throttle body, my issue was that the plastic sheathing was still ok so it looked fine. Once I repaired the wires it ran great......made me wish I hadn't replaced the ISV,fuel pump, metering head, leads, plugs etc etc
  18. They look very like twilight violet to me , shame I'm not nearer......and in the front of the queue  , still I have got a set of the indicators 8)
  19. I'd say it's far more likely, in fact almost a certainty that your heater matrix is burst, no power to be gained by the driver being cold as far as I'm aware :) Welcome along though, and if you can wield some tools you'll be able to sort it, there is a good guide on here, with decent pictures
  20. Happened to me once after a big puddle incident, popped the bonnet and the coil pack was having its own wee firework display. Needed a new coilpack which was fine as I had one sitting
