Posted to Glasgow please :) -
I was thinking I needed to change my starter motor as it got really laboured but after I changed the ignition switch it was all better. Not saying that's what is happening with you but a new battery should fire it up easily

Previous owner must of been a big guy eh? Should be fun though :)

Can't remember the thread but fairly sure they came from here http://m.rs-online.com/h5/mobile/uk/index?state=uk&dl=true#

Hi, welcome along :)

Happening to me too, iphone5

I can't answer your question but perhaps the title is putting people off? 1. Is it an R32 engine and you need advice on the rear engine mount? 2. Is it a normal 12v VR6 and you want to use a rear R32 engine mount?

PM coming your way soon, we could easily package all and the wipers up in one box and I could drop them off to Goldie......assuming he's ok with that and not collecting them :)

Not looking to buy them, but if you put the size down it'll probably help you :) -
Welcome along :)

The bumper might be worth about £40 but it's not exactly easy to post so I'd prepare to take less.....unless you are lucky enough to get someone needing that colour nearby. I bought a couple of spares over the years £20-£40 A decent VR wheel will get about£40-£50, depending on condition of leather etc, if it's rough, who knows....£20ish?

I'm gonna pass mate, as anything I eventually do has to be very easy due to my poor mechanical skills
-
Mmmm, I'm slightly worried that it'll not fit now? When you say push fit, does that mean I need new hoses? Or a connecting piece?

£35 posted? :)

I've got an old exhaust with a few holes in it

Also check the condition of the ISV damper box -
I know it's stating the obvious, but are you sure you have the leads in the right places in the coilpack? I got two mixed up once when I was hurrying

Bentley only covers the VR6 and the G60, so if it's the 1.8 16v engine you want info on then a golf Haynes manual would be better i'd think

Not very mechanically minded myself, but if it's not the head gasket, what else can it be? Water pump, blocked hoses/radiatior, broken thermostat, rad fan switch, coolant temp sensor?.....can't think of much else. My old 2.0 16v had a water pump issue, all the blades had broken off the impeller and it constantly overheated, plus someone had removed the thermostat, couple of fairly cheap parts and it was well again. I'm sure some of the more knowledgable people will be Alain soon :)

Nice door, where did you get it from? :)
