  1. That is the one thing on mine I hate the most. Is this a sign of worn aux belts or is it the pulleys they drive making the whining/whirring? Thinking of changing the belts on mine but if it aint gonna sort it, I won't bother...
  2. David, it sounds like you've been in mine!! :lol: My mom's just bought an MGRV8 re-imported from Japan after owning several BGT's and the noise that makes is amazing. (85 in 2nd at 5k!) Makes mine sound like a sewing machine... :(

  7. What are the pro's and con's of fitting carbs (Dellorto and the like) to a KR? What kind of power gains could be achieved, if any? Thanks in advance peeps! Oh, and has anyone done this to their C (KR or 9A)? Cheers...
  8. Gotta disagree with the comment about PVW, yes they do feature american and european shows, but if they didn't, would you EVER see anything from them? Not like you can jump in the car and pop over for a look on a Sunday. I reckon they assume you will visit the UK shows yourself, hence the apparent lack of coverage...
  9. Lowered say 40mm you'll be ok on 17's as long as the offset is correct (as close to ET35 as you can get) They'll still tuck if you stick with 7" width HTH

  15. Weird one that is, seems odd it only happens after driving for a while. Have you tried disconnecting your audio kit?

  20. The rotor arm you need to gently prise off, mine was sticky when i changed it. Theres no screw or other fixing though, just ease it off. When you changed the leads, did it include the lead from the coil, and has the coil ever been replaced? Other than that, not sure. Funny it seems to be an intermittant problem though....
  21. May be worn injectors?? Or fuel pump pressure/metering head problem?? May even be the fuel filter, mine ran loads better after swapping that...
