Hello chaps! I did try the search but couldn't find the PN's... Bit of help needed to find VAG part numbers for: 1: Thermo Time Switch. (ETKA states: 043 906 163A can anyone confirm this, as ETKA shows the G60 engine i think?) 2: Coolant Temp Sensor for ECU (sits next to the above part, on the side of the head i think!) 3: Thermostatic Rad Fan Switch; I've already replaced this once with a part from GSF, and it's failed already (4 months) never using them again for mechanical bits! In addition, for numbers 1 & 2 will I need any new seals etc to fit with the new parts? Number 3 i know comes with a fitted brass washer. All of the above are for my '90 1.8 16v (KR) Any help/pics/prices would be excellent! Cheers...

Welcome to the Forum! Sounds like a bargain at £300 quid! What colour is it? What condition is the bodywork in? Good luck sorting the problems out, doesn't sound too serious.

LOL!! Helped my mate move some stuff up to Preston on Saturday, and saw this monstrosity in the flesh just off the M6 at Wigan. If whoever owns it is reading this, then apologies. However i just can't understand why people insist on bastardising the Corrado in this way! It looks excellent as standard, so why try to fix what aint broken??

This kind of thing makes me sick TBH, like you say, its gotta be someone who knows the local area or actually knows you yourself. Good luck in finding them mate. Sounds like your contacts will come in handy.

Glad it wasnt too serious then Paul, thought it'd probably be the stat. New shocks/exhaust and you'll be laughin... Maybe...
-
Mancorr Not another prob??!! Did you get the overheating sorted out? Looking on the bright side, this one'll prob'ly be a cheapo fix... Maybe.

Nice one Louis! Close one with the rozzers though! Lucky.... -
I had a Mr Gaitor one off the bay, covers the whole lever type jobbie. Too muh excess leather on mine so trimmed, refit, trimmed, refit till it sat properly and the handbarake actually sank into the surround when released. Bit of a ballache but ok once done.

Par for the course i reckon. They're D1CKS round here too...

herisites Cheers for that mate, i'll be speaking to Midland VW in the near future methinks...

Ditto, so, how many bushes are there (front and rear) that would need changing to get a decent "tight" feel back. (Running on normal suspension)?? If anyone can answer this, then gonna get it all done, new shocks all round and sort it all out in one fell swoop. Oh and a rough price wouldn't go amiss... Cheers guys...

Knew it'd look good with a drop! Sweet. You gonna keep em on when you get the coillies?

PETROL LEAKING !!.... "THE HORROR, ... THE HORROR"
mattnorgrove replied to DiTch's topic in Engine Bay
Mine stunk of petrol recently, whilst cleaning the sills found it was fuel leaking from the bolt on the end of the fuel filter. Sounds like your problem... New filter cured mine. (And made the running surprisingly smoother, and a bit more performance) -
Sounds like faulty pressure sensors on the oil filter housing. Replace them with genuine VW items though. About £9 each from VW. Reckon someone will have the part numbers you need.

Swapped my rotor arm a while ago, my old one wiggled off with a bit of persuasion (oo-er)
