Hi Take the insulating tape off to see if the wires are just twisted round. If they are then solder them and insulate. Check the connections where the alarm/immobiliser was spliced in to the ignition wires near the fusebox. Again if they are just twisted together, solder them and insulate. As regards the plastic bag around the ECU, I think that will cause more moisture to stay in. Look forward to the photos.

hi can you put up a picture sort of a side view of the hub. I reckon it could be the guard plate.

Hi No. Can I make a request. When you are working on the ABS relays, will you please take some photos of the relays and the holders, the colors of the wires to the holder and the pin numbers on the relays and the connectors.Cheers.

Hi If you drained the coolant while doing the chain, then I would message the pipes to get rid of air locks. Is the fan switching in ? What part of the engine makes you feel it is running hot?

Hi Have you had a word with the folk who changed the timing chains.

Hi You have to replace the complete motor and cable thingybob. If the one you have is for the same side door then it should be ok. Take the one out of the spare door and that will show you what is involved in replacing. There is a guide somewhere.

Hi 2 questions What car is it? Which wiper function do the wipers adopt when it happens? Intermittent/normal/fast.

Hi Can you put up some pictures please. One of the relays in the holders, 1 of the wires going to the ralay holders. Then three of the underside of each relay. Make sure the numbers next to the pins are legible. Cherrs.
