Hi guys and gals, I was wondering if you could help. Having just acquired one of the above, I am struggling to work out what sub to put in there. I had a look to see if my 12" would fit and no it doesn't, not even close! I've measured the hole in the box and its 24cm/9 1/2 inches wide iirc. What size sub does this mean I can squeeze in? I don't really want to be chopping it up to get a larger sub in, partly cos of resale, mostly because of ham fists. Also, there was a load of padding too. Why? Does this go inbetween the box and the car body to stop rattles? I can't imagine it going inside the box as surely that would just absorb bass and make it more sludgy (like putting a blanket in a bass drum). Any help would be helpful. :D :salute:

I'm pretty sure they only do the early, hence the reason I chopped up my vent. Personally I'd buy a vent from a breaking thread and save yourself about 40 quid. I just cut it and put the gauge in. I was going for maximum cheapness. :grin:

Do your own SWG style with a hacksaw/Dremel and a bit of sandpaper for fine tuning.

I think Brawn will only be going backwards on the grid next year. Sure, they had a good car last year but that was the might of Honda, whereas Brawn is a much smaller team with a much smaller budget. Schumi may win a few, but I don't think he'll challenge for the championship and that's a bad thing for his record and image. He'll probably end up being the best of the rest after the top 3 have had their tussle. I was never a real fan anyway so its no skin off my nose. :grin: At least Raikkonen isn't racing this year :lol:

tuff noodles does like to thrash the cars, but at least you know that he will take it to the limit and then give you an honest opinion, unlike clarkson who would describe the handling as "a weasel being greased with jam" or something equally daft and uninformative. :D

I have some 205/50/15 ContiPrem 2s and they are pretty good in this weather. fantastic in the dry and admirable in the wet.

'Tis a rectangular plug affair after the airbox, before the throttle body on the pipes. Has 4 wires going into it iirc. I used to get rough running and this helped a lot, it used to wiggle loose after a while.
