Audi TT seats fit nicely. I've put them in mine. They're really easy to fit and look pretty oe in there.
-
The problem with fitting a new intercooler is there isn't much room between the rad and slam panel, so unless you want to get the grinder out it's best going for a slim one. As has been said the sprinter intercooler fits, and I've fitted a Landrover TD5 intercooler. I think it needs to be less than 40-50mm deep to fit i think  The one to try and get hold of is a Golf G60 intercooler, but these sell for stupid amounts of money.

I'm not sure where the bolts are for the dash, but you dont have to remove it to replace the heather matrix. I changed mine a couple of weeks ago and left the dash in.
-
I did have a plastic end when I brought it but had a metal one made to a more golf G60 style to help it between the rad and the battery
-
Landrover TD5 intercoolers fit, thats what I fitted to my G60.
-
I left the dash in to do it, bit fiddley but managed to remove the air box in a couple of hours, just missing some skin on my hands now. Just like working on the mighty Cat mate ;) Yer, the good old days :salute: Here's a pic for you

Get into the car last night and notice the carpet on the drivers side is a bit wet, think my windscreen might have a leak and drive home. Get home and find the carget VERY wet now and smells like coolant :( Further investigation finds this very nice split in my heater matrix. DSC01355.JPG[/attachment:1sutvqmf] Guess what I'm doing this weekend........?

Nice purchase, those seats are so comfy 8)

Did the police turn up and arrest the other party, at which point the Ferrari made an immediate recovery?

Awesome pictures :thumb right: I need a better camera to get decent results like yours -
Very nice mate, got rid of your 4motion then dude? It's freezin here too, at least I'm not working on a cold line anymore

Hi Stan  I've got the choice of either, but probably go for the supercharger 8) I'm not sure what car it's out of, maybe a 90  it was one he was going to use for his mk2 1.8t but it's now twin charged. So how's warton then? Back in Corrado yet?
-
There was a guy who was building them on E38. There was a GB on here a while ago but I cant find the thread for it. I'm not sure if he's still making them though

Well another quick update, since getting back I've been busy moving house and then with xmas and new year the corrado has sat there unloved :( I wasn't really surprised when I went to start her that the battery was completely fubar'd. £60 later and she's running like a dream once more :D Over xmas I was talking to a motorsport place as I fancy going down the 1.8t route this year. He then offered me something a little unique, a 2.0 20v alloy audi engine, along with a turbo/supercharger, so I'm now saving my pennies for this. Hopefully later in the year work should start :D Also I'm having a rethink about the TT seats, well the rears anyway. I'm not sure I'll ever get them to mount safely so think I'm going to get a standard rear bench recovered. Apart for that it's just been general husbandry tasks as the MOT is due ths month, guess I'll be sorting out the handbrake again then
-
I'm currently sourcing an engine for a 20vt conversion. However I have a slightly dumb question, will changing the engine alter the road tax band I'm in? I ask this because if I use a BAM engine which I've been offered from a TT/S3, the Co2 emissions mean these cars fall within the £400 band, will this mean the corrad will now fall intothis catagory?

Having just spent some time out of the country I'm glad at be back on sovereign soil. I was also glad to get home and lay my hands on the keys to my rado. Although she may have looked a mess being covered in manky rain water and dust as soon as I'd jump started her I realsised just how much I'd missed that sound :D And to drive :luvlove: Just needed to say this, your truely, a very happy rado owner pleased to be back in the saddle :norty:

I'm not minding the credit cruch so much. I recently decided to buy my first house, bad move some might say. I wanted to buy a new house so I wasn't held up in a chain. The builder was so desperate to sell the houses I negotiated 20k off the price, got carpets fitted and most of the furnature from the show home. And to top it all off, as I hope to exchange and complete this week I have also saved stamp duty
-
Such a shame your selling :( I think this rado is so unique that it'll always be known as "greeny's",like jay's!! Must say this is probably my favourite corrado's.
-
Cool, have to try and arrange to get to the same meets so I can eye up your paint job
-
No i've not heard of those meets but would be interested in going once the rado's back on the road. Do you know when and where the next is?
-
Cars looking awesome, I'll have to get over to volkscraft as I need some bodywork sorting, is the spray quality as good as it looks in the pictures?
-
Not my cuppa tea really, but if I tell mysely that the rado had been front ended and the mk1 rear ended and he's saved then it makes it kinda ok

Imagination time: Corrado colour schemes you like
