    So, bit of a result. Halfords wouldn't upgrade to the lifetime battery but did give me a direct replacement even without the receipt.

    This is the 2nd Halfords battery I've had so if I can get something that affordable I may just change it. Anyone got a eurocarparts trade account? :lol: Cheers Mate

    Morning all! Just wondering if people have had any success getting a battery replaced by Halfords without a receipt? I know a few years ago people had some success. My battery is less than 2 years old but just won't hold a charge, even with a battery conditioner, so I need to change it.... but having moved house I can't find my receipt

    Britax Evolva 1-2-3. Fits perfectly, good for up to 11yrs old, no isofix unfortunately but is 3 point belt mounted

    I can offer no further advice than the clever chaps on here already have. What I can do is sympathise, as I had similar myself a few years ago. Bugger.

    This car is awesome. White, great wheels, new charger. Never dealt with then myself but I believe OCD have a good reputation so if it sounds fine now, you're getting good boost, and oil feed and pressure is fine I'd say it seems all good.

    Taken to sleeping in the car? For my 5 pence worth, the only ones that are going to be worth proper money are the completely standard, low mileage, properly maintained, mint versions. Anyone (like me) that has deviated from standard will not see much increase from now unfortunately. Irrespective of magazine articles heaping praise. So enjoy them instead I say.
