  1. I don't have one but I may know a man who does but he's not on here very often. I'll ask and let you know.
  2. Not a bad idea. Impressed with the work, has the love come back a bit now?
  3. Can't help but think anything other than silver for the brakes on a car this stunning would be a travesty! Only my opinion, obviously. Are these standard speedlines? You may struggle to get 312's under if so. Cars looking great though, as always.
  4. Welcome! Looks like a couple of dodgy jobs done by previous owners but car itself looks nice and straight. Good luck with getting it back to a standard you want. There's a never ending journey with these machines!
  5. As per title. Need to sort myself out a battery conditioner, anyone for any discount codes lying about unused? Ta.
  6. S3 with Corrado in the garage surely? Best of both!
  7. Fantastic thread, you should definitely be proud of yourself mate. I to wish I had half the skills to achieve something like this. Keep up to good work.
  8. You're officially mental mate! Love it
  9. Car's looking good mate, and the garage looks pretty good as well. Certainly better than mine! Couple of folk now getting to the end of their tethers with the old rado at the moment, me included, but a drive might help. Took mine out this morning for the first time in a while. Not sure it helped, or just made me more uncertain, but I enjoyed it still.
  10. 62% of the price of fuel is tax anyway, putting more on top would be criminal and the government know that. This is why they don't scrap the road fund licence even though the money doesn't go back into road or transport, but just goes into a miscellaneous pot. It's just another stealth tax and they'll never get rid of it. Ever. Even once we're all using electric cars we'll be taxed. Not suggesting you should (as it's very dull and a little depressing) but if you sit down and look at everything you pay out, work out where you pay taxes (for cars its fuel duty, rfl, insurance tax, VAT) and compare it to your earnings and you'll see that the effective rate of tax in this country is extortionate, even though the headline 20% on your salary is quite low. Rant over
  11. Remaps take a little while unfortunately so only power runs on the day. Worth it to get a base power then you'll know how far you've come. Or book in the saturday before and stay in the local travelodge ready for the sunday? I might be at this depending on working car etc usually a good day and Vince and the lads are a laugh
  12. Stanford is usually a good show, but yes it's much more towards the concours cars. Haven't been the last few years as the first weekend in May is usually the nearest to my wedding anniversary (poor planning on my point). My car may also be in many many pieces by then so if I do go it'll be in something else (read boring)
  13. Take it they won't fit over your brakes without spacers?
  14. Nothing like a fast bike for putting supercars in their place off the line...... or the twisties if you're brave/skilled enough
  15. Hey Kip! How's life? Are you still working on the car or is it just tucked away these days?
  16. One of my bucket list cars, fantastic!
  17. Yes! more details on the mustang Design380?
