  1. I'm currently ripping out a gravity fed boiler for a combi whilst putting an extension on my house. The old boiler is only 3 years old and works perfectly but our plumber has recommended a big combi for our needs as our cold pressure is very good (2 bathrooms and underfloor heating going in) so if you're interested I'm going to be selling the old one. No idea how much they are worth but if you're interested I'm sure we could sort something.
  2. I have been known to go in the garage and open the doors just to get a blast of that distinctive corrado aroma...
  3. Selling it, then buying the same car back 18 mths later?
  4. Hope they catch this scumbag. No-one is not a target to these people anymore.
  5. If you can't keep it somewhere, or you don't want to, just sell it mate. It's only a car at the end of the day, you'll still be an active member of the club and you can always buy another further down the line.
  6. Looking good. This is one of the jobs I need to do with mine. Did you get the arms direct from VW?
  7. Even my 24v is a little noisy mate, and that's only got 60K on it and never been apart! I agree, they are a very mechanical sounding motor. See what Stealth say I guess.
  8. Great news mate, looking forward to the next meet up Video sounds intriguing...
  9. Great news mate, look forward to the update with it back in good possession
  10. I'm still undecided, but mainly because I made the error of trying to wade my way through all the different claims on both sides and, to be quite frank, it's all rubbish. Everyone is blaming everyone else, or blaming all the UK's issues on EU membership and yes, some are the fault of the EU but some definitely aren't. Nobody truly knows what is going to happen. All I know is that it took us 12 years to join the EU, and I suspect it'll take us a bit longer to get out even if we do vote that way so we won't see an instant change. Worth a read, if you've got long enough https://fullfact.org/
  11. Very nice mate, not jealous at all! Great scenery as well, must be easy to come up with excuses to head out for a blast at every opportunity
  12. 9 years, give or take, and 40k miles. Always joke I'm going to sell it, but probably not going anywhere..... Probably.
  13. That is awesome! Wish I had an understanding wife but apparently the next car has to be 'practical'.... GLWS
  14. Fine, just us lot then.... ... and some rumbongo for good measure!
  15. Echoing what others have said, it's the fact you're clearly cool enough and smart enough to have purchased a corrado in the first place that gets you welcomed into the fold. The fact it's not a show winner doesn't matter one bit! These days I'm not even bothered about showing off my car, its more about meeting up with some really good friends and chewing the fat over a few beers and maybe, just maybe, poking your head around an engine bay or two..... Maybe.
  16. I had a tdi GT as my company car for a while. Great cars and generally as solid as anything else VW group produce. As others have said, all the mechanicals are lifted from other models so should be just as reliable. Doors are big so you need a bit of space when parked to get out smoothly so watch where you park. I'd definitely buy one with my own money
  17. I'll be camping, and planning to head up Friday so could help out depending on timings
  18. Love the article title - '1990's cars to buy now' Yeah, I'd like to see you just pop out and buy a Ferrari F40!
  19. Top write up, great to see you've still got the passion after all these years! Car collection looks great, will you be at the VW festival at harewood house in August?
  20. Agree. Great day, nice to see some friendly faces and meet a few others. Look forward to seeing the pics.
