The first switch looks like the thermotime switch that tells the fan to switch off when coolant is below a certain temperature. It fits to the bottom of the radiator, nearside.

I got a cracking set in Costco. Pretty thick and about 15 notes I think. Almost a perfect fit. -
I have H&Rs on my 16v and the ride quality is excellent although its a little high. They have been on a year and reckon I need to replace the shocks now but thats probably down to them being old. The boge gas shocks sold by GFS are pretty good.

Just found out my clunking is from the weight on my wheel hitting the anti roll bar. I'll get some sticky weights put on this week.

new lenses are available. Part numbers are in the knowledge base.

Best bet would be to find where the bikers local to you get theirs done. Not legal though.

When I got my KR tuned the guy binned the Bosch spark plugs and said they were generally poor quality and to stick to ngk. In saying that I've personally never had a problem with Bosch before but he would see a lot more cars than me.

I've not seen three spokes in years.

Had to read that twice cos the first time I read "crow" as "cow"! That would have been bad! Definitely a crow, it was quite cool seeing the feathers fall down in the rearview mirror.
-
I find it's worse around full moon time. Last week managed to hit a crow but just missed a sheep and then a pheasant and some ducks/hens.

Eh? Early controls are really reliable - its only a set of levers pulling cables not like later ones the are cheap plastic cogs trying to turn more cheap plastic cogs mounted to cheap plastic studs. Its the heater box foot flap to windscreen flap that causes the problems. Early controls do have the cheap plastic cogs. I resorted to a huge wad of blue tack over the broken cog to keep it in the windscreen position. Who needs warm feet? :camp:

As it happened they only had 1 gas shock in stock so went for that. Not sure why it states ABS in the description on the GSF website if the shock has nothing to do with ABS.
-
GSF list one type of rear shock on their site for 4 pots which is an ABS one. I assume this just means it has an extra bracket for sensor/wiring and would be suitable for non ABS cars?

I'd appreciate that Dec. From what I've seen in searches people seem to have a few probs with refurbed racks, hence the post.
-
Can anybody recommend a supplier of a steering rack for a 16v?

I just had the rear bushes changed last week. I went with OE and was hugely impressed with the difference.

oops missed the d,also apparently not his web address, now edited the post. I reckon the he just hasn't been on the forum since selling his corrado. ReekieVR did have some problems getting some money back after a delay in receiving the loom - see the bad salesman thread.

I get this after I've driven through some flooded roads. It's normally gone after a couple of days. I was worried the first time though.

I sent a PM but no reply and was thinking of sending some snail mail to the address he gave.

My 1.8 16v is just over 171,000 and happily does 500 miles per week and hasn't let me down yet. As has been said some bushes need replaced but engine wise all is well.
