What needs smoothed on the bonnet?? Looks gooda and low enough at the moment. Unless your doing the VR engine conversion yourself and getting the engine for peanuts I wouldnt bother if you really want a 1.8T. Standard VR's are not massively fast however if your looking at FI route in the future then an OBDII VR would be good.

Stop putting pictures up or I will have to get me some of those wheels.....

Welcome back. I got rid of my leather Recaro's as well and TBH the standard seats are just as good if not more comfortable plus it means you can spend the money on the more important go faster handle better bits. S3 wheels look at home.

Note there is a difference between late and early wings as well but Im pretty sure all VR's have late wings.

EH!?!? Are you serious?!? :shock: Yep, Im not that keen on them. There maybe not chavvy as such but they appeal to more of a chav audience I think. Dont like the big deep bumpers, skirts etc. The Mk5 is more restrained in my eyes. Im more of a Q car preson anyway i.e. something that looks stock/plain but it fast as fook.

I do like these and could see myself owning one but I could never buy the Mk4 version. Its too chavvy.

So long as its not rusting then I wouldnt be too bothered. Jist wait till someone comes up witha 2nd hand bonnet. Only issue is Satin is quite hard to colour match I think so wings might need some blending in. Still no excuse for a black bonnet though!! :lol:

Do you really have to got that big with brakes? Surely you can have an overbraked car and the massive discs will end up adding more weight.

Personally I dont like the whole black bonnet thing. On light colours it just looks daft I think and reminds me of Civics etc. Nice looking car you have there, dont spoil it.

Wasnt really sure on the Borbets so Ive taken them off and put on a set that Ive always wanted since thinking about the 4mo engine. There perfect for what I want, nice and subtle. Still havent looked at my 288mm brakes yet but might look at 312mm now seeing as I should be able to fit them on now. Ive got a set of tinted headlight protectors but not sure if they will look right now.
