MY EYES!!!!!!!!!! Only joking. I seem to remember a Mk3 VR a while back that Awesome built in not to different a colour. It actually looked quite good but it retained all the trim. It had those Fittipaldi 5 spoke wheels. Think it may have been the guy Tristan Rees that had it. God I am a fountain of useless knowledge. Found a pic but it has slightly different front end and alloys. -
Thats the guy from Westside. He posted on here a week or two ago. The car is pretty much what I was going for but cannot be bothered now. The wheels are 8x15" Schmidt modern lines.

When I mean faster, its A and B road faster not plant the foot straight line faster. Anybody can go fast in a straight line.

Well all I can say is ultimately the Subaru is faster but it just to easy to drive it quickly. Sort of takes all the fun out driving. Its a bit too clinical. Also, as said, the Subaru is also a bit more boy racerish.

No mine doesnt need a catalyst. Thats pretty much what I was going to do OR fit and 8v with a link pipe. I know the downpipes are a bitch to replace sometimes. Did the noise increase that much? Did it make much difference to the car?

Enough said. Soulless engine in my view. The 20vt is 100 times more tuneable but it just has no character.

I think the best bit is the roof. I love things like that. Simple yet so effective and if you didnt have a Raddo you wouldnt notice. Sort of "only in the know" mod.

Get it lowered. Why are ships/cars etc always referred to as females. They are cars, not people!! Oh very nice by the way. Love the Competitions.

40mm no probs with original spoiler. Dont like the small front spoiler. Mine are Eibach springs. To be honest I think 55mm would be perfect as then there would be no gap between the tyre and arch when viewed from the side.

Well my Corrado is my everyday transport and the bike is the fun bit. To be honest I would only ever think of running a 2nd car if the other was just so impractical. I kinda hate having something that only gets used at weekends etc. But yeah the two insurance etc is a pain although my tax for the bike is only £45 for the year.

Did somebody say "orangepeel". I am sure it will be ok. Look at it this way, if you are nervous about it then when you go to collect it and its as you wanted you will feel even more elated. If that makes sense.

Theres a guy on the Clubgti website that had a corrado front end and rear bumper on his Mk2. Doesnt actually look as bad as you would imagine.

Unfortunately if you want uprated suspension its always going to be a compromised ride. Its H&R springs by the way. Some people say Eibach are good some say H&R. If you are just wanting a slight lower then the Konis & H&R's are probably the best. A few more bumps wont bother you as soon as you go round the first corner.

:oops: I have already spoken to him. I rememeber my G60 basically having the same downpipe but minus the silencer. Is that right? Anybody got a pic of a G60 downpipe?

Is there any standard downpipe from the VW range i.e. ABF, 8v that will fit straight onto my KR? I am looking to get rid of the bin like silencer from my front pipe and would love to buy something like a JMR big bore replacement but I cannot justify spending a lot of money on the car.

It would fit but the G60 cam is probably milder than the std gti one IIRC.

Bored so i took me brothers car out for a blast. Its amazing how much petrol these things consume when you have a heavy right foot. Pictures didnt come out to good but that is only 5min from my house.
