Never knew about that one Jim, is it 4wd like the Golf limited too ?? Follow the link in my previous post. There's a whole thread about it with pictures.:D

He was proper p!ssed off! He was shaking with rage! think on a cat b you can take bits for parts and the main chasis has to be crushed due to structural damage. Cat a is when the whole thing has to be disposed of.
-
Guy came in to see how much money we'd give him for his car (a really old Nissan Micra) in part exchange and when we ran an hpi check it had been declared a Cat B writeoff! Oh, did I forget to mention that this was back in 1998! He's been driving around in a car that should have been crushed 10 years ago! :pale:

No worries mate! :thumbleft:
-
Cheers dude. It's a lot tidier in the Golf picture than it is in my signature! It's spotless now though. I love that garage. My Corrado lives in there with a cover over it. I'm not obsessive. Promise....
-
Here's mine. I do really miss it actually. I got it for next to nothing and sold it six months later for more than I paid to fund my first Rado.
-
Even then it's only the early ones that rusted. They started to produce them with galvanized tailgates, forget which year though. The only one I've had with a rusty tailgate (and I've had a lot of mk3 golfs) was an early valver. The 8v engine is ok I suppose. My mum has one at the moment. Give me the valver any day though. S*d the fuel economy and get one of those! :D

Who was doing the Supercharged pic Hooded Tops?
Sonicriot13 replied to Jay2's topic in General Car Chat
I have my own t shirt printing business. I could probably make you one if you ask nicely.... -
Not again. Why doesn't he put it up for 5 grand and just get rid of it?
-
Well, it would appear that I didn't blow anything up in the process of jump starting my car the other day. Checked with the Bentley manual which position the fuse for the "rear window defogger" is and there was no fuse there in the first place! So I'll be stealing a 20A from work tomorrow.... Probably gonna go through the other fuses and just make sure they're ok too.
-
3 relays please. How easy are they to fit? Could a complete incompetent do it? Perhaps being a little hard on myself there but I'll be honest and say the only thing about headlight looms that I know is that I need an uprated one!
-
 I haven't seen it that cheap yet. That's awesome!
-
Yeah but then when someone asks why you have a steering wheel in your trousers you can say "It's driving me nuts" :tumbleweed:   Anyway, cheers for that guys. I reckon though even if they're not that difficult to get off it's gotta be worth it if a potential thief sees it and it's enough to make them move on to the next car.
-
Been thinking how easy it would be to break into a Rado. Not a nice thought. Obviously other than having an alarm and immobiliser are ther any other things that are worth having? Like those steering wheel locks and wheel clamps and the like. Does anyone use anything like that?

Yeah, the search throws up all sorts of things: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=48268&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=16v+g60+bodykit&start=75
