Was waiting at some traffic lights at an interchange just about to go up a slip road and join the A14 when an MR2 pulled up directly behind me in the queue. I could see the driver and the passenger eyeing up the Rado and nodding to each other. Then the lights went green and I nailed it and left them for dust as I went up the slip road. :D I was in the outside lane and they eventually caught up with me and the driver flashed his headlights, I moved over and they pulled up alongside me and the passenger gave me a thumbs up and as they passed the driver falshed his brake lights! :D Then they sped off at about 110mph.... I would have followed but I kinda need to make sure I don't lose my driving license. Kinda need it for my job and all.... My first chuftie from a non Rado owner in my new G60! :clap:

I'd still have the new Scirocco. Shame I've spent/am gonna spend the deposit I was saving up on buying/doing up my G60.... :lol: I'm still gonna blag a drive in one as soon as Northgate VW get a demo. :D

We had some rain in Suffolk last night.... Unfortunately a large proportion of it has found it's way inside my Rado! :lol: That's the last time I leave it out of the garage.

Yeah, and if anything does go wrong they are a doddle to work on. I know a lot of people aren't keen on mk3s because of the styling and "lardyness" but I think they are really good. Every time I've needed a bargain car I know I can rely on I've always gone for a mk3. This'll be the fourth one.

Well, once she's had it for a while she will realise why I'm so obsessed with them! :D And then when she's bought a replacement it's going to my brother when he passes his test. This mk3 is an 8v as well. Having owned a mk3 valver before I'd say the 8v engine was more suited to my Mum's driving style too. If it was for me it would be a valver though.... :D

Yeah, mk1 Escorts are awesome. Let's not forget some of the more american stuff such as Mustangs. How cool are they? And Capris are wicked.

Bought this for my Mum to replace her Volvo which blew up (cam belt went). :D Just as a little run around until she can sort herself out and buy something proper. I'm picking it up tomorrow morning. So my Mum now drives a Golf GTi :lol:

I was looking for a G60 but cuz my hubby has a rallye that he is putting an r32 engine etc in i decided a vr would do me better when racing him round the track, as the plan is to supercharge it. Best of both worlds then. :) Me and my girlfriend could never race each other! :lol: We'd end up never speaking to each other ever again. An R32 engined Rallye eh? That sounds awesome! :D And it sounds like you need to start a build thread for your VR.

No way. I almost bought this car! It is mean lookin and personally I like the wheels. I went for a G60 in the end. I looked at loads of VRs and even the real mint ones didn't jump out at me. Then I went to look at one G60 and ended up buying that straight away. :D I'll just always be more of a G60 person I guess. And welcome to the forum. :wave:

Now it's only 9 and a half grand! So since it went up he's dropped the price by £5,500. :shock:
