  1. ahh go on then - you can put me down too (ill just rub out those pencilled in things!) cheers
  2. i *think* that is the sound deadening that they place in the scuttle area but cant quite be sure. If it is indeed that, then id make sure its all clean on the scuttle (de-grease it properly) and then buy some soundproof material to replace it with. This is good stuff : http://www.skinzsystem.co.uk/2.html
  3. i may come but it depends on a few things I have penciled into the diary for that weekend falling through (fingers crossed they do!). Will you need a concrete answer now, or can i let you know the week prior to the actual rolling road day? thanks
  4. ok, managed to get most of it back in the car now.. just a few bits to finish off but ill get around to them shortly. Updates on page two, direct link below clicky me
  5. i have used both interparcel and parcelmonkey. I'd be surprised if it cost you more than £20 via either of those two...
  6. spent 7 hours cleaning, claying, polishing and waxing the b1tch
  7. Anyone thinking of going to this tomorrow? Its down the road from me and wondered if i would see anyone from here at the show?
  8. think it is defo the door pull foam looking at the Bentley manual...
  9. it does look like that foam that surrounds the plastic door handle on the inside of the doorcard (the handle which has the metal rod that connects to the door lock)
  10. try this: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?57415-Bonnet-release-has-snapped&p=736783&viewfull=1#post736783
  11. they sell MT90 in US sizes called quarts. Think mine took two quarts (two bottles)... but basically unplug drain plug, stick it in and fill till it starts overflowing back out. Made a wicked smooth gearchange. I would have taken you up on the offer floppyman if i hadnt just done this- but thanks for the offer anyways :) feel the love
  12. what colour wires have you got where....? dipped beam is Yellow/Black. So this should be coming from the OEM loom to input 86 on one of the relays. Then make sure the output (pin 87) from the realy goes to lower left pin of the headlight connector (lower left as if you were looking from the back of the headlight, or if you were sitting in your car's driving seat)
  13. personally i wouldnt simply because if you get stuck in traffic on the motorway it will cook itself fairly quickly (well my VR gets toasty after a long blast!) is it a VR6 / G60 / 8v / 16v....? if its a VR6 then check this guide on how to test everything: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?38925-The-definitive-VR6-cooling-guide
  14. mine needs a fairly good pull...about as hard as you would need to pull the cork out of a bottle of wine (hope that helps)...
  15. i have a feeling it was broke, hence the replacement. Its a common issue with Corrado's Get some pics up of it when you get the chance dude
  16. that r32 looks spot on mate - lovely shiny red example! Your experience is very similar to mine (i had my old MK2 written off by a numty taxi driver who rear ended it). I then bought the Corrado and the Royal Mail then decided to do a hit and run..that little saga took over a year to sort out... but it did eventually get sorted. I looked at about 3 or 4 R32's when i was looking for a replacement car and they are very good compromise between performance and modern convenience. Nothing will make me grin like the Corrado does from an astethic perspective, but the R32 came very close. I'd say its a much nicer place to be and drive, but it didnt give me the feeling the Corrado did. If i could afford to run two cars, id have the r32 as my daily and the Rado as my weekend fix. Also, I found the R32OC a fairly friendly forum too..I pop along and have a little nose every now and again. The thing which is grating on me right now is that normal "maintenance" parts are becoming obsolete for the Corrado which just takes the pi$$. I asked about the VR6 rad at my local TPS... "sorry, no longer available". I know you can get aftermarket rads, but seriously.. its a RAD... and its Corrado specific ffs!!! arghhgh (okay, rant over) lol
  17. no worries mate, good luck. I just made myself a loom and installed it with a general refresh of the whole front end lighting (took me absolutely aaaages!)... ill have pics up soon in my build thread.
  18. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?41616-Uprated-Headlight-looms-available-for-2011&highlight=uprated+loom KUR2Y is the man you want click this link to see what the loom looks like (although you can get different varieties, with OEM connector etc.. so check with KUR2Y what you want first...) http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=69006&start=135#p881000
  19. That's a shocker!!! Can't believe some people these days... :( Where was you car when the damage occurred? Sorry to hear that you now have to break the car because of some fekkin eejyats.
  20. Hi, really quick question, does anyone know if you can get a 4 pin connector that plugs into the OEM loom plug? Basically the MALE version of the four pin plug that would fit into this : I know you can get the part above which is part number : 357 941 165 (i ordered two from TPS the other day). I just want to be able to plug my uprated loom into the OEM light loom with an OEM plug if possible... The only alternative is to butcher a spare set of headlights and take the internal connector out of it along with the "male" pins and white plug, but thats a bit of a hash to tell you the truth and the last option. thanks!
  21. Just finished the tracing tonight (took me over 8 hours on and off in total...) I got all the icons done and have been exploring printing / laser cut options in adhesive vinyl.... Once i hear back from the people i made enquiries with i will report back. I did have some people reply back and they couldnt print them as the items are so small (0.5mm sidewall at 1:1 scale)... Thanks for the tips on the screen printing and other suggestions - i just dont think it will be precise enough as the items are so small and intricate. There is absolutely no way I could cut around the icons with a scalpel accurately enough. cheers...
  22. check the obvious - make sure all wheel bolts are tightened up properly.
