  1. is it a flat 5 pin connector (with two blanks)? should look like this : cheers
  2. Hi, Looking for a fully functional ABS light. It must be the later one which i believe have the part number ending "BA" thanks
  3. I went for a Varta E38 74Ah It hasnt missed a beat in 4 months (car was stood for a few weeks once and it started on the first key turn without any stuggle). I've always had Bosch in the past and i can hand on my heart say that the Varta is miles better, wont be buying anything else from now on. I got mine from TPS (Trade Parts Specialists) for I think about £60 with trade discount. Beware though, it is a big a$$ battery and just about fits! http://pmd.varta-automotive.com/pmd2/showBatterieDetail.do;jsessionid=20B2821DD2EE6E1DD89325746D535CCA?ArtikelNr=5744020753162
  4. ohh, sounds interesting. Have you got a direct link or product number on the website. Did a quick search but didnt find anything on http://www1.conrad-uk.com (assume that is the correct website?) ta
  5. didnt you want some £££ upfront for them? Or are you trusting all us straight-as-arrow Corrado forum members :) What do you think a rought turn-around time would be from you placing the order, to them landing on our doorsteps ta
  6. i was looking at buying some myself...then i read they are just stick on and not heated. That kinda drowned the idea for me personally! Good luck though, they do look nice.
  7. a pair for me too please. Well done for finding them!
  8. hmm, that may have been me as I live a few minutes from Windsor. My memory is failing me. I was around Windsor/Datchet but i cant remember if that was today or yesterday (pathetic i know.. i got the memory span of a goldfish at the moment!) Will keep an eye out for your car, looks lovey! H
  9. Leather refurb pics updated on Page 1. thanks for the comments guys! It really does take a long time getting all the little bits done (Corrado ownership is a strange thing... it seems like you are forever fixing things, but when you do it makes you appreciate the car all over again) Dont worry Hasan, I have many other pics which I will be uploading soon :) ta H
  10. just some updates, more to come as i complete the cam change photos...
  11. just read through the whole thread - absolutely mental build!
  12. anyone know the links to the wiki/KB? OllieVR6 reported the issue already: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?41360-Knowledge-base.&p=697944&viewfull=1#post697944 ta
  13. New site looks great, very refreshing. Only issue i have is with broken links... but this has been mentioned before. i noticed my profile is showing "regular" ... i've been donating regularly for nearly 4 years now (damn time has flown by!)... granted it is not a lot, but i guess it all adds up right? cheers for the hard work and maintaining this forum Andi. Id love to know a stat which showed how many hours of my life i had spent reading these forums! H
  14. All I can suggest is to make sure that you remove the window/glass and rubber seals if you want a good job done. There really is no way of getting a decent prep job without removing the windscreen, quarters and hatch glass . Lots of people will use this little triangular shaped plastic strip which lifts up the rubber seal, but as far as I am concerned this is just short cut and really doesn't give a good finish. Plus when you remove the windscreen you will see if there is any rusting underneath where water normally accumulates in the lip. When I had my car resprayed I opted to get the glass all taken out. Front windscreen went out and was replaced at the same time (it had a few chips in it). I paid to remove (cut) the quarter glass which was then reinstalled/bonded back in once the respray was completed (think I paid £100 for removal/refit of both quarters). New quarter glass are.... wait for it ... £250 each! :cuckoo: I would be surprised if you had any change out of £2500 for a really good respray. Good luck!
  15. stick some Durex 4Play on your bonnet, that pussy will slide right off..
  16. Must have about 10 HDMI leads of varying cost and makes. Never spent more than £10 on any one lead (and that was only becuase it was a longer 2m lead). I have genrally found that a lead will either just work or it won't. My rule when it comes to HDMI is not to go overboard and start spending silly amounts of money. As mentioned before, I'd buy somthing which is 1.4 spec to ensure it is futureproof. Also stay away from really cheap cables (less than £2) as I've found they are false economy and generally HAVE caused me artifacting or temporary loss of signal. Anyway, back to the racing. Was having a blast this morning for half an hour and popped into the UCD and picked up an '01 RS4. What a monster!!! I did some "light" tuning and it's pushing just a tad under 600 brake now. I love it! Would be very interested in having a dedicated RS4 session :)
  17. thanks again Steve, i completed the event (on my 10th attempt!). Car has had it's oil changed and I restored the body rigidity too before sending it back. cheers H
  18. I've lent you mine, just done that race myself, wasn't gonna bother because I didn't like the idea of racing a nascar on the ring but it wasn't too bad, only took 3 goes to win it. Wait until you try an F1 on the ring in the wet, now that's a challenge! They're quick as fook in the dry but even with wets and max downforce they're damn near impossible to control on the ring. Oh and a bit of advice for anyone thinking of doing an endurance race, your car takes damage and it's not repairable in the pits, had a go at the first one when I got over halfway, two laps up but hit the wall once too often and lost 5th & 6th gear. Had to quit the race because I was losing too much time per lap to finish anywhere but last place. It's not like GT4 either where you could let the AI drive most of it for you, you've got to do the whole thing yourself! you're a legend. Ta mate!
  19. can anyone lend me a nascar please so i can complete the seasonal event? i'd buy one myself but i dont think i can get to lvl21 (needed to buy the nascars) by the closing date as i just got to lvl19. Cheers!
  20. yeah, keep the photo of that one to yourself!! Loved the self-made steering wheel and cup holder that someone made, was reading earlier posts and that was just awesome! Gotta admit, the ironing board was also a novel idea...closest I'll come to using an ironing board anyway :) fekin B-5 license doing my nut, can't seem to shave off those last few hundreths to get gold (I'm an4l and NEED gold on all of them, silver just won't do!) Amassed 100000 credits now, hmmm what to buy??? Or should I pimp ma Honda...
  21. Is it wrong then that I enjoy doing the licence tests? I love the fact there's a benchmark you've got to achieve. Add away :) yeah it was fun and challenging, but once you have done them licenses over and over again on the different GT's over the last few years it starts to become a bit dull. anyways, had a blast for a few hours and got right back into it. Got myself a Honda Civic as my first car (damn, why couldnt it offer me a MK1 Golf in the UCD!). So far it's been plain sailing, but im sure it will get stupidily hard very soon (or maybe i need to turn off all the driver assists lol) Quick question, can you only find out the resale value of your car by trying to sell it (which you cant do if you only have one vehicle in the garage)... i cant be bothered to RTFM! Added a few people off the forums, so look forward to seeing you online! p.s. i changed my pad setup so L2 is brake and R2 is accelerate as i think this feels more natural than X for accelerate. p.p.s OMG, those car shadows are worse than shocking...
  22. ok, i just got this for my PS3... still waiting on the flipping update screen (608MB!) am itching to play it. Any tips on what to do first to get most credits and "level up" fastest? I played GT4 and GT5 prolgue so not a total newbie...Not looking forward to having to complete the license's AGAIN! will add you guys to my PSN if that is ok?
  23. Hi mate where did you get the black wheel bolt caps from? Looking to get some black ones to cover the 'nuts' for my H&R Porsche conversion kit (it is stud and nut type) thanks mate
  24. cheers Jim. I'll give Phil a ring after the long weekend. good luck with the full resto! ta H
