Set the Alarm off and let it run through a cycle, daft as it sounds, it may solve the problem. I've had a few car alarms do similar things, and just setting them off has sorted them. there is no reason for it too i know. but its a cheap fix if it works

Am i missing someone here :confused4:

Pull out the head unit and disconnect it, that way you can tell if its the head unit or something on the same circut. you never know whats been wired onto that same circut on an older car.

Here you go the trimmed version of Hennys Pic

The £85 you pay is for the Test, and as many tests as you need to get to to the standard. there is a membership fee and thats dependent on your regional group. Its about £8.50 here iirc. I'm doing it more for the course and the skill for life than any of there rest of it. I've not seen anything about a retest every year...but again..if that were the case then I'm not interested.
-
If £85 helps me drive safer and with a better understanding of the road then im happy with that.

The Guy looks like he was well stunded, his head is forward after the crash...gutted for him.

Got my first Run next week. so i'll post my report next monday evening
-
Cos you said you could hear the gogs turning, which could mean the gear box is engaged. If a drive shaft had broke, the diff would prevent the car from moving. just some thing to rule out.
-
Yeah you become an advanced driver, you get a nice certificate and maybe insurance reductions. http://www.iam.org.uk/
-
Basically you do a series of observed runs to get you up to the skill level then you do the test when they think your ready.
-
Hi Guys Has anyone done the Advance Test from I.A.M. I've just signed, £85 for the course/test. seems worth it to me
-
check your drive shafts and CV joints
