  5. Arh will keep my eyes open for one, hard to find those here, best idea so far http://homepage.ntlworld.com/dgace/skoda_rear_wiper.htm http://homepage.ntlworld.com/dgace/polo_rear_wiper.htm
  6. Right Guys I've done the Lupo Wiper mod and now im looking for something for the rear to bring it up to the year 2003. I've been looking at different cars rear wipers and arms and not found anything in the same style as the lupo ones or anything modern looking like the punto or Clio rear wipers. taking into account that the mount has the spray for the washer running through it. Any one got any ideas? Most new VW and Seat ones are no good as they are center mounted not off center like the C
  7. well here is the pics of the later screen washere bottle with the extra pump for the headlight washers. I think im gonna give it a go. Need to find some nozzles know so im off to the garden center!!

changing gear as fast as possible is not always a good idea. the gearbox is simply not design for high speed shifting. I have a short shift and i dont move my arm any quicker than a normal car but the travel is less, thus if i try to rush it more then it doesn't like it. 1st gear should only be engaged at a vertual standstill on a C, there is more than enough torque to pull in 2nd from very low speeds.
  9. okay ordered my Arms and Blades on Monday, arrived today wednesday, and to top it off, I haven't even paid for them, the computer was down at the dealers and they could not make me an invoice, (got to get some other bits tomorow) so i am paying for them then. i nearly dropped dead when they said i could take them.
  10. No one can see my speakers in the parcel shelf and given the volume of the boot in the corrado the 7*10 are better suited imho. my rear shelf is reinforce to cope with the wight of the speakers and to shop the shelf moving btw. you should not enclose most 6*9 as they are ment to be mounted into a space like the boot and putting a box round them will basically kill the sound. just fill you boot full of stuff and see how the sound changes. If you run a bass speaker in a sealed box then you are NOT going to get the other speakers distorting unless you are over driving them.
  11. BTW guys the G60 and 16v coolent change is a different method.
  12. Hate to blow the center speaker theory but..... if you remove it you'll find nothing more than the screw(s) that hold the screen vents in!! Quoting myself here but the answer has been here since page one
  13. okay the tweeters i have a sealed units and therefore are not effected by the door speakers. The tweater should like i said ideally be at ear level, but in a car this is not practicle, so you basically want the sound to come from one location. I.e the high and mid in this case to come from the same spot so the sound reaches your ears at the same time. thats why mine are there. the only exception to this rule is bass and sub bass as it is rarly directional and the wave length is so long, it dont matter. Now 6*9's and subs should not be put in the same enclosure as you say they will distort each other. (basically the subs will pump the components) A sub driver or series of subs work best in an enclosure. when you mount speakers on the rear shelf you are making the boot the speaker enclosure. Thats why i would fit 7*10s next time on my parcel shelf. then a enclosed bass unit in the boot that does not have a port ideally. In the front of my C is have tweeters and mids running through a 2 way crossover powered of an amp, in the rear i have two component 6*9 which i dont really like, they are also running off an amp. The gain on the amp is set up so that the sound level in the car is about correct and all the speakers reach their peak handling at about the same volume, the sound comes all round you rather than rear or to the front. the balance is slightly left so i can get a better stereo image in the drivers seat as i said before.
  14. No its not a speaker see pic with diagram and part list
  15. However, it was recently proven that Corrado-Forum.net stickers give a minimum 50bhp increase when stuck in the car. Ok, maybe not. that answer the question andi!!
