  1. Going to have to investigate that I think. These sprinter jobbies, are they front mount or do they go in the standard G60 location? I don't think I'll have room in the VR for front mount as the Mocal is there, so ideally I need something to pop down in the inner arch, maybe even a G60 cooler itself? they are front mount but a little big for a rrado,, g-man fitted one to his a while back,,
  2. just wondered if anyone had fitted one that particular size before, I`m well aware that other people on here have fmic`s,,, :?
  3. got some magnycours on mine,, seem ok at the mo,, got the original ones in the boot though just in case!!
  4. my mate done them for me, he flatted out all the writing on them first too, did a nice job of them for me,,

anyone thought about fitting one of these to their rrado,, seems a really good price,, just wondering if it will fit in behind the front bumper,, ill do some measuring at the weekend,, click click
  6. cool ill go see james at gsf in the exeter branch,, he usually does me a really good deal,, amount of money i spend in there,,,,
  7. ideal, gonna sort mine out when i fit my flowed inlet manifold and big valve head,,,, cant wait!! just gotta get my nurburgring trip done first!!
  8. out of interest how much did you pay for your piston rings? not priced mine up yet,,
  9. its also worth porting the adaptor that bolts between the throtttle body and the boost inlet pipe as it is about 4 - 5mm thick where it enters the pipe,, also not good for turbulence,,
  10. it is the black sender next to the blue one on the flange on the front of the head,, about £7,,, try that first,,
  11. nearly a hobbit at 5'7"
  12. yeap ill leave em alone,, 77000 miles is nothing for a set of rings, set of big end bearings and bolts it is then,, :thumbleft:
  13. cheers henny, think i`ll do them then,, what about the piston rings? worth doing?
  14. hi ya im changing my head in the next few weeks after i get back from th nurburgring, i now have a shiney new big valve spec head,, 40mm inlet 35 exhaust,, at home, and a flowed inlet manifold, my car has done 77000 miles and i was wondering, would it be prudent to change the rod bearings and the piston rings at the same time? as unlike other VAG motors that have bottom ends that go on for years, the short rods in the G60`s give the big end bearings a bit of a beating!! q henny!!
  15. the reason the boost climbs more after 4500 rpm is the standard head does not flow well enougth to allow all the air you are producing with the charger into the engine hence creating a restriction and an increace in manifold pressure,, thats the reason,,
  16. clutch in as of saturday, now enjoying a silky gearchange,, man those cable change gearboxes are heavy though!!
  17. also when bleeding abs systems you need to have the ignition turned on so the pump energises,, try and bleed again,, tube and bottle method will be fine but make sure you have the ignition turned on,,
  18. there are wurth distributors over here too, most garages use wurth sundries, might be worth popping into on eand getting them to ask their wurth agent or maybe give you their number?
  19. hmm no salt and pepper for me i`ll sprincle some fuel outta these ere injectors for my chips!!
