  1. I think that might be a no. I have a febi one, and they're good stuff.
  2. Oh dear! Glad you mentioned it was a Mk4, I was gonna ask about the alloy sump! Is it just gonna be a £50 part plus fitting to fix then?
  3. Oh yeah, and he got his Lambda sensor replaced too. Forgot about that! :brickwall:
  4. You might need to get it on an exhaust gas analyser and get the CO pot tweaked (do US G60s have this on the boost pipe next to the head?) Prodigal Son's used to overfuel like a mofo, but he got his CO pot tweaked and it runs sweet now.
  5. FFS, Just thought i'd check my bank account balance online before ordering some more little bits and the cheque from Team Modena is going to bounce    I'm gonna call them in the morning, as if it goes back out it will put me over my limit. Like they don't have enough money already!
  6. Ah sorry, thought it was only the bolts left! Any pics?
  7. tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons... of info on this if you only use the search. I asked these questions just a few months ago so I know the info is on here.
  8. the one with the white plastic connector should have the opposite white plastic connector to plug into somewhere behind/around the ignition coil. I just been out to look at mine and that's what mine has.
  9. Hi Steve, yes you too mate! :salute: Cheers for the link. The loom on my mk2 16v had pretty much cooked itself hard. It had tons of those little red and blue halfords spades all over it! :gag: edit: wow, they have TONS of different colours! cool
  10. Does anyone know who would supply the different colours / striped colours wiring that could be used to make an OEM loom in the right wiring colour from scratch? I fancy making another engine loom just for a stopgap as they get so brittle from the heat and snap. This is the nth time it's happened to me, and always seems to be on a crucial sensor wire too! Ta, J-dog.
  11. I'd get a cargo container full of gas if I was you :salute:
  12. Good work mate! That's a decent price seeing the magnex is worth a few hundred and especially as you got it running so well. You and I should start the "Rough and Cheap Corrado Valvers Club"! seriously though, tornado red does fade like MC Hammer's haircut, but it can be brought up. Let me know if you need anything as I still have a shed full of lots of parts and would be happy to let them go for a steal if you need anything! :salute:
  13. Good morning gents! Does anyone know (or has anyone actually done) if certain parts of the chassis need stitch-welding for running certain power levels? In the long-term, I'm hoping to 28 my spare 16v engine (looking for 300hp tops), and was just thinking that if certain parts (inner wings etc?) need reinforcing, I should probably do that now whilst I'll have the engine bay in bits. Cheers, Jon :salute:
  14. Interesting finds recently: Car seems to have been resprayed at some point (or a really bad factory job?) as there are runs on the lower side of passenger door, runs behind the door handle on the drivers door, and the bonnet is quite hazy and doesn't polish up to the same shine as the rest of the car. Weird! Didn't notice any of them until I started SRP and EGPing the panels! Anyways, looking forward to getting on with the subframe now I have one. Just waiting on some more POR to arrive as I ran out of Marine Clean halfway through scrubbing it down  In the meantime, I may finally assemble the new steering rack in my room! Got a couple of cans of clear Waxoyl too.... I wonder if they will cover the entire subframe setup once it's built?
  15. Looks good Jonathan, are you happy with it? Looks like the hard work and body shop man all paid off in the end!
  16. push the shaft back towards the wheel, due to the way constant velocity joints work they have a couple of inches of clearance.
  17. Back from Toad's shindig now, with some G60 brakes and a Corrado subframe for a knockdown price!  :salute: Cheers buddy. Will get cracking on it today, hope I still have some POR products left...
  18. H reg Burgundys ftw! looks very tidy Lorns. You ever been down to Oxford? I swear i've seen another DBP around...
