  1. Is your Arosa that nice Peach colour? :norty:
  2. that looks tidy! good work, glad to see some progress esp. on my nemesis (electronics!)
  3. As Stu said, a 50 shot on progressive shouldn't worry a G60 block at all, they're so lazy!
  4. That's some fine Dinitrogen Monoxide you got there, yessss indeed :norty:
  5. mmm, new shocks will push the ride height up slightly.
  6. Go to bed and think long and hard about what you've done! my jetta had corroded fuel lines, so the magnets would have kept the rust out of the chambers. Voila! Justified
  7. I know people who have magnets on their fuel lines, and even had some on my Jetta. Didn't notice much, but didn't do any damage either.
  8. Hi Kip, I'm on a budget so i'm sticking with the current springs. To be honest, unless they are flaking really badly at either end (i.e. into the metal - MOT failure) then they should be ok. New std springs are about £30 each (rears) from VW last time I checked but as said they are quite hardy. I gave my fronts a lick of the black stuff before reassembling and they look OEM again.
  9. Hi team, I now have access to the MoTeC and Emerald M3D mapping software at uni, so would like to have a play with some maps if anyone has one? I have an Emerald map for a Lotus Elise, so would be interesting to compare it to something i'm a _little_ more familiar with! Cheers, Jon.
  10.   glad i'm not the only one with Stevie Wonder wiring. btw, I want your red tool board in my bedroom. Big fun times.
  11. kid fonts are fun. Glad you got the car sorted and sold in the end!
  12. Ah right! I thought 50 means it's thick? I had a friend with a morris minor who decided to put the good stuff in. It blew all of it out the exhaust within a tank of petrol :-s good to have that info though, I wouldn't have thought about it otherwise.
  13. That's the price of style, my man. And what new mods are you talking about?
  14. Interesting read! Are thin oils ok to use in all engines, or are some older engines with possible worn seals etc more likely to blow the oil out the exhaust? *possible leading question...*
  15. On the same thread Kev, I'm gonna go with: (8) 021906462 air volume meter / F 50-R-015 001>>* for the full MAF part number, courtesy of the 'CAT.
  16. i lololol'd this evening. then i lololol'd some more  quality quality episode!
  17. mattcorrado, oil on the filter / intake system has already been explained above. It's the positive pressure crankcase breather system and is designed to decrease pressure buildup below the pistons.
  18. :norty: sucks on the gators, Poloneck. Glad you got it through though!
  19. most have been listed here mort.
  20. should say on a sticker in your door shut?
  21. bananawhip, perfectly plausible mate. I've known batteries to shift around a lot! Mine fell off the perch once and onto the shift tower, couldn't get 1st or 2nd until I stopped an investigated!
  22. So THAT's what you do with all that junk... Looking good James
