Yellow Corrado's look so fucking sweet :luvlove:
-
It wasn't the paint I was worried about affecting the weight distribution...however, I was under the illusion that as I'd put the balanced wheels back in a different order on the car it would affect the car's handling. Obviously not. :help: Any idea what it could be then?! I'll go and get the tracking done I suppose?! :brickwall:

JSB Racing Shiftlight kit - Pre-order for next batch

PM sent dude. -
So no-one has these in their Corrado? :? I would have thought that considering how hot a VR6 can get, peeps would have this setup?!

I'm thinking of purchasing two products from Awesome GTi, they are as follows: Neuspeed 180 Degree 3 Pole Fan Switch http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.ph ... 87&xSec=86 and Neuspeed 4 Cyl 180 Degree Thermostat http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.ph ... 88&xSec=86 Has anyone else got these in their car, or a similar setup they'd recommend? The days are getting hotter, so for a few quid I'm rather keen on getting these unless anyone has had real nightmares with the above. Thanks. :D

Interesting... I'm getting a bit of vibration thru the steering wheel between 60mph - 80mphish, especially if braking between those speeds. Also, as a slight bizzare thing, I seem to get a noticeable amount more tyre noise when turning right :cuckoo: As I'm sure you can imagine, this is driving me c-r-a-z-y... The only thing that I've changed recently is removing all the wheels off the car as I did a cheap (i.e. pikey) refurb with a silver spray can to last me until the summer when I'm going to get them done properly. I wonder if I put them back on the car in a different order? Would that affect things?

How about a Nissan 300ZX? Seen one lately and it looked great, lot of shitters about (like Corrado's!) and no doubt it'll cost a fortune to run - again like our beloved C's - but I'm sure the 3.0litre twin turbo must be sweeeeeet!

I'd love to pull apart my Inpro headlights and paint the inside of the headlight black...but truth be told I've not got the bottle in case I screw it up :(
-
I'd love to get those mirrors, they look very cool indeed...but 75 bucks is still over 50 quid in today's money :(

mrbeige I'm back in Cambridge from May 9th - 19th. Whats the score with you fitting the shift light to my Corrado in a day? -
On the weekend... Self half-arsed alloy wheel refurb to last until June/July until I get them done properly. Cleaning of all brake calipers, spraying them silver. Fitting of smoked side repeaters and new orange bulbs. Fitting of new handbrake cover. Today... Purchase of rear brake pads from Volkswagen. Purchase of Goodridge braided brake hoses.

Just tried that myself...they don't supply direct anymore. I was told to get them from demon tweeks or cam auto developments, the part number (for the 'normal' zinc plated fixing version) for a 1995 Corrado VR6 is: SVW1025-6P. I'm not up for paying crazy prices, especially as the kit is new on eBay for £58! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Corrado-Goodri ... 240%3A1318 I caved in and bought the thing from Demon Tweeks, despite their 20% for online orders on brake hoses, it jumped from £58 to £73 when it included over £8 to post it to me and VAT!!! How much do they fucking weigh?!
-
Thats nothing...get a brew on lads and check out this link of me spanking down the strip in 18 seconds dead! It was a standard engined 1.4 8v Polo with a Supersprint exhaust, Pipercross induction and hardly any petrol! It was my first experience of Volkswagens when I was a mere 21! :D

Anyone know if you can still buy the original steering wheel? Cheers.

Police cars :salute: -
Is it easy to change the gearbox oil then? I doubt whether my gearbox oil has ever been changed and its starting to get a bit notchy.
-
Dude, can you elaborate on where the polystyrene box is? Is it under the carpet where the spare wheel is, or is it in the 'side' bit of carpet?
-
Every, single time its me doing the pub/club run and someone needs to get in the back of the car they do this, they grab the 'gangsta handle' that tips the seat all the way back and then lift that as the seat then moves up so quickly you'd think it was a fucking ejecter seat! Its always funny for them to see their face do this -

You have to join HM Forces first mate :D
-
I live in Germany mate, thats why I needed LHD headlights and Volkswagen wired in an extra fog light in the rear light cluster, so I have a fog light each side. Its brilliant having a Corrado VR6 out here :D. Especially as I can fill my tank (60 litres) with V-Power for £22!!! I've still got the original RHD headlights in case I ever come back.
-
Pictures! They might sound cool mate, but they are nothing special - I don't even like them - but I have to have LHD headlights and I couldn't get standard LHD headlights in time. They just look like the chrome version of Inpro headlights.
-
Its working again now!! :brickwall: I don't know whats more annoying, it not working, or it working again now?! Guess I'll take it to Volkswagen anyway to get the pump replaced, it can't be that expensive and at least it'll never happen again.
-
I'm pretty sure my 'Inpro' style headlights are from ABT. :D

Chaps, I have a bit of a problem. Discovered yesterday that when I unlock the car using the keyfob, the passenger door won't unlock! Its the same, even if I use the key on the passenger side :cuckoo: The door pin raises slightly, then falls and it just won't open no matter what I do! Is this a common fault? What can I do except take it to Volkswagen and get them to sort it out? :brickwall: Cheers.
