How much is a new original front passenger-side wing? Can I get one in my colour? Or will I have to get it sprayed? How much do you reckon the bumper would cost to repair?

Executive Summary: Get a VR6 if you can afford it. If not then get a G60. Ignore the others - they are poop. :salute:

In my VR6 I get easily over 350miles to a tank of petrol with no motorway driving. Umm.

Cheers for the other comments chaps, I'm certainly not bored of it at all and its very reliable which is more than can be said for other Corrado's I seem to read about. Its just that I'm coming back to the UK for a bit and my mates tell me that petrol prices are pretty crazy around my way - as of the rest of the UK - so its going to cost me double what it does over here in sunny Germany. Plus, lets be honest chaps, it ain't the cheapest car to run, this is partly my own fault as I insist on doing everything at a dealership. Something which I'll probably stop at 100,000miles.

As far as I can recall, its a RHD clutch and brake pedal, but a LHD gas pedal. Or it was for my 1995 UK-Spec VR6 anyway. Proper cheap from the dealership.

Got them in the end, and they look pretty damn good. Quite OEM too and a perfect fit and feel to them. Being a lazy bastard I got the dealership to fit them during the service, think they were only 8Euros per pedal too.

This car must be the oldest advert on pistonheads. Maybe someone should contact the Guiness Book of Records, I can remember this car being for sale before I even had a Corrado! I'm surprised someone's not bought it to be honest.

Hi chaps, I've got a RHD, UK spec, M-reg 1995 Corrado VR6 and I'm the 2nd owner from new and its got full VW service history (in the UK and Germany) and bar the CD/mp3/DAB player and foot pedals is completely standard (have LHD headlights fitted, but have original RHD headlights too). So my question is, as I'm approaching the big 80,000 miles soonish, is it time to sell? I've had the car since September 2007 when it had 63,000 miles so I've throughly enjoyed owning it...but I'm in two minds whether its time to sell up now before I start whacking more and more miles on the car and before you know it, its worth not much for a re-sale. However, is there a car that I can buy which is as fast, reliable, and generally as 'cool' as a Corrado for the same amount of cash. I'm certainly not bored of the car, but maybe currently a tad nervous about its re-sale value, especially at the moment with the petrol crisis in the UK. Cheers, D.

I never thought some door sills would spark such debate! Now, this might seem obvious, but how do I take the old ones off and fit the new ones? Flat-headed screwdriver job to 'wedge' them off, then simply glue the new ones on? :shrug:

The blingy chrome (and even gold 'look' plated) are 60 Euros + and then wont match the normal rear 'VR6' badge that I also need. Guess I'll put up a wanted add... *pulls pants down*

Hey chaps, just a quickie, the other day I was cleaning the car and was a silly willyhead and managed to kinda break my rear 'Corrado' badge, so I need a new one and being the OCD freak I am it also means I'll have to buy a rear 'VR6' badge so their 'newness' (good word) matches... Anyone know roughly how much they are at the dealership? I'm going tomorrow anyway, as the cars getting serviced, just want to have an idea. Cheers. D.
