Hi all well i've been getting an intermitent missfire for quite some time now all the usuall stuff checked vac pipes, filter, leads dissy, coil, rotor arm etc. The past week ive noticed the rev counter going a bit wild too. :? Then today she broke down, loads of clicking from fusebox same rev counter going wild, backfired if i went to wot. She would turn over but not start when going to ignition on i could hear the fuel pump but didn't sound normal. after a bit of poking around the fusebox found out relay 32 was quite hot un pulgged it, contacts looked clean so stuffed it back in and she fired up no problem but still having random missfires. so found out that realy 32 is digifant control relay. what does this actually control? does it just send power to ecu? think it may be loose wires behind box , it's too cold and dark at the mo so just wondered what you guys thought.

Early or late dash? Info might help someone answer your question.

Hi all I've got to replace the vacuum line from inlet manifold to brake servo and the brake fluid reservoir is in the way. Is the reservoir just a push fit on to master cylinder? Or is there a trick to getting vac pipe on without removing it? G60 BTW

yep don't do it get a mk2 or 4
-
on the bracket witch holds the coil i think
-
wot he said^^ the lower reading could just be a leak off a vac pipe But i wouldn't run any mods without getting the charger looked at by a reputable firm such as G werks with or without paper work, Chargers are easily changed.

i used a hot glue gun works very well, no smell, peels off easy if over spills. but on the minus you will get quite hot fingers in the process :?

lookin 4 a cheap small diesel any recomendations?
weetos replied to cardboard's topic in General Car Chat
dont go for the HDI the early one's are much more economical. I used to have an L reg XRD 1.9 non turbo and i used to get 650+ miles from a tank The missus has a 306 1.9 TD she gets about 575-600 per tank Hope this helps -
Hi Cheapmods We've not heard a lot from your project recently everything ok? Or you still in new dad mode? :)
-
nope just bentley for the corrado :?
-
the bentley manual is the one you will need, not cheap though at about £80 on flea bay. get a compression test before you go ripping the head off though
-
What flavor is your 'C'?
-
My Missus didn't like my G60 until i gave her a go. she came back with a huge grin

IIRC blue/white wire from gearbox VSS to a connector block on the top right of fuse board. From here it branches off to the speedo, radio and spoiler module behind dash. Hope this helps

FYI These are to support the car when it's on the skids going down the trim line. It has no drivetrain in at this point so its quite light

rear calipers do tend to cease, unless you get later golf ones

I found the raceland (same as hot tuning IIRC) one ok but it's a bit tight around the anti roll bar but deffo needs a solid front mount to stop it catching hope this helps
