I would have liked to hang around the stand longer to chat to people but aiden was keen to watch the racing from every corner of the track possible ...god knows how many miles we walked on the sunday till we figured out how to drive to the south bank lol Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk -

Well my corrado wont be coming! Front brakes started making a noise and didnt feel right. After inspection it seems there is a problem with the caliper sliders worn giving the caliper to much movement causing ot to vibrate..... It was fine when i used it last!?!? Gutted its chose now to let me down ive been looking forward to this show. Still coming just gonna be in my mk4 instead....... Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk -

I only done mine yesterday! I don't have mirror hanger yet. hopefully wont be a problem but may teach me to be more organised lol -
there is some adjustment on the bolts that hold the bumper brackets to bumper iron which would raise it up. i messed around with mine for ages bumper on bumper off.........its a pain

the trim should come out but be careful not to stretch it as you pull it out using a plastic trim tool. squirting soapy water around the edge sometimes helps run the tool around the trim and see where the trim moves the most and start there. using cutting wire is the best way to remove be careful not to damage heating connectors which are soldered on

forgot to post that mine was received and looks excellent. thanks

I have these on my non abs g60 with a 25.4mm master and work loads better than the standard g60 setup. I cant comment on whether they are better than 288s tho... Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

You would be best to call john direct to let him advise you. prices and parts availability change with these old cars! I didnt have wing on when i installed siren but should be possible with it on. Thanks for the offer of the clocks i may take you up on that. I was going to investigate wiring first when i take dash out to replace with black one and fix heaterbox as it maybe wiring related i think. Probarly not till it goes off the road for winter tho. Im loving driving it again at the moment so must not take it apart again yet! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk -
spec sounds good:thumbleft: surprised with that spec it hasn't got bigger 315cc injectors and chip but may need intercooler upgrade if still has original?

if the "super charger or some other auxiliary part failed" the last thing I would do is try turning it by hand with the aux belt still on! I would remove the supercharger belt to make sure when turning the engine over more damage isn't caused if something has failed on the charger. the supercharger will need rebuilding or at the very least a new belt on it.(the small one under the black cover that keeps the 2 halfs of the charger in sync) check that hasn't snapped.

thanks its good to here after years of work:thumbleft: I had the supercharger, big valve head and setup done by JMR and cant recommend them enough. I done the rest. I wouldn't say they charge anymore than any other specialist and have never heard a bad word said about him like some of other "specialists". are you looking to have some work done?
