2. it'll be fine. just make sure nothing can get into your engine via open hoses. bugs insects small animals etc LOL
3. are we going to see it go down the strip then John?

5. Currently sat in A&E after my boy has managed to knee himself above his eye on a trampoline. Looks like stitches will be needed and plans to leave early this morning isn't going to happen....arrrhhhh
6. would be good if we could all camp in the same area somehow im getting there sat morning camping sat night
7. Awesome I couldn't make gti festival and keen to see your car John. I also have a few questions for ya lol
8. ive researched this to death and find so much conflicting and hearsay opinions on the various options im confused  the question is has anyone got any proven measurable gains/negatives in any of the various ways people achieve this modification from the standard setup? anyone had one on a dyno and run through the various options and got confirmed gains or negatives? does it depend on other mods? interested to hear of proven results not hearsay ive read for hours on hearsay LOL
9. ah yes it does look like that when i looked at >>50-M-0121000 I thought it was >>50-M-012000 sorry i had been drinking LOL another way to know is the fuel tank size early have 55L late ones have 70L the jetex exhaust must be way out to hang 8 inchs to low.
10. looks like you need the later style system not the one you've brought your j reg is 92 so a 89/91 system isnt right and your chassis number is higher than 50-M-0121000 so also backs this up.
11. my boy loves it, the look on his face the first time he saw the fireforce jet car was priceless
12. ill be taking my boy down to this one he likes shows with the drag strip. be good to see you john if you make it
13. there are early and late style exhausts for g60's the mountings are different
14. im sure it will you have caught the "Corrado OCD" bug im sure LOL
15. dont think they will be available mate i thought of this idea and sure they were obsolite. maybe worth looking at getting yours retrimmed the seat padding can be used from a passenger seat that are usally alot better condition thats what i done to mine
16. im afraid we are all suffering from that common illness my friends and family called "Corrado OCD" LOL
17. thanks odub:thumbleft: well ive got the hoses and intercooler. oil cooler and fluids ordered today:cheers: im currently searching for a golf g60 580mm radiator to match the length of the intercooler which is proving harder than i thought. im going to find out how much it is to recore my corrado 430mm rad to 580mm tomorrow so fingers crossed on that one. only other option ive found is ordering one from germany http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122074100682?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT its the only place i can find one and seems expensive considering the larger vr6 or rallye versions can be found for half the price. unless anyone else has any ideas? im getting exciting about nearing completion now after all the hours ive spent on it:dance:
18. it makes their life easier if you have a set of camber bolts fitted http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191027104073?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
19. i would clarify with the company what would happen if the front screen was damaged while removing. some companies would pay for it if it broke some dont. they arent the easiest to remove with out damaging the trims that that are attached to both sides it depends how much glue and how hard it was pushed down when installed
20. no problem i like to help if i can as others have helped me in the past thats what i love about this forum DOT 4 is correct. if its the original then will prob be brittle and crack easily if disturbed, mine did. mine was easy to replace as it doesnt attach to a metal line it goes straight to clutch slave, the reservoir only has one outlet on non abs.
21. my corrado doesnt have ABS so is a bit different setup to yours. it does look like the hose is crimped onto the metal line on ABS setups so ideally replace the whole thing but.... i suppose you could remove the crimped connector with a hacksaw then replace hose and reattach using a jubilee clip instead of crimping it on, although im unsure if a jubilee will put up with the pressure?? i would look into replacing the whole thing if available
