  1. Could so with mine sorting out too, is it a countywide service or local to Reading? doesnt say on the website!
  2. This ones for a mate of mine with a MGTF. Shes got a xplod headunit with a multichanger in the boot. It 'was' working fine, but now every time the engine is turned off the headunit needs the reset button pressing before it will find the multi changer. It doesnt loose radio stations or anything so i dont think its the perminant live causing problems. any ideas anyone?
  3. waaaa, propa wick'd innit? fackin' sowted that!! oh i am sorry, i dont know what came over me!
  4. not wanting to kick this off again, but IMO its about the image the corrado has. I think the majority of people on here would agree that the Corrado has a pretty good image with non-owners, as in, the uninformed masses dont see one and instantly think 'boy racer'. Thats because of the fact that for the most part, the styling is subtle and the drivers are as has already been said, genrally a little older and wiser. The problem I have with this car is that to a casual observer its a blatent boy racer mobile and i for one dont want to be tarred with the same brush. One of the reasons I went for a C was because I like the more subtle understated look that tends to go with them, and I'd hate to see the trend swing away from that to OTT max-power styling. Remember Richard Hammonds comment in the top gear review? 'its the only 90's coupe you dont look like a prat getting out of' and i'd like it to stay that way! that said....paint job looks good!

    ECU reset

same thing for a 16v ECU or should i try a glass of milk?
  6. looking at it again, i just noticed its got sideskirts! they're well subtle but really effective with the deeper front splitter. anyone know what they are?
  7. very nice mate! how much is that dropped?
  8. What do you do dinkus? sounds like police training to me?
  9. the spacers would be used if the wheels were likely to catch on the suspension, i could be wrong here, but i'd think with standard 15's you should be fine.
  10. very tidy! is it just the light or is that leather green? dont think i've seen that before! (although knowing me its probably quite normal and i've just not noticed!)
  11. very slick install! all your own work?
  12. i've got a DEH7600MP too, highly recomended! the dophins are fun for about 3 seconds though. ooooh....! *off*
  13. confused me for a minute too, then i realised the drivers seat would be on the left  I was thinking my GOD that guys skinny... :| looks really mean with those black rims... indeed! 8)
  14. loving the vinyl roof and the way hes cut into it so the boot/doors still open.....BIG PIMPIN' !
  15. watched an episode of 'pimp my ride' the other day where they used a lambo door kit and all the bolts that came with the kit snapped when they hung the door! this was on a 5 door civic, so ferk knows what'd happen with the doors off a C!
  16. that colours almost 'too' good, looks factory which can only be a good thing!
  17. i dont understnad the technical gibbins (beyond cold = good) but the bumper looks sweet as a nut mate!
  18. good job mine was only £100 :D dirt thing makes sense, i wasnt arguing with what roadie said, it just suprised me to hear it
  19. :?: dont use a cd lens cleaner? really? i used one on my dvd player recently becuase it'd 1) stopped playing dvd's properly and 2) was making a right racket. its now quiet as you like and plays anything i put in it (other than drinks coasters....dont ask....) surely the brushes on them are soft enough so they dont do any damage?
  20. try a cd head cleaner, and maybe burning at a lower speed. I've got a pieoneer mp3 headunit which works for all my newer mp3 CD's but not ones i burned a few years back for some reason, although they play fine on my PC, although I'm not sure whats different about how they were written! simple things to check, make sure you're closing the session (so the discs no longer writable) and check what ISO standard you're using to burn (select from the 'burn' screen in nero) oh, and did you try pressing the 'reset' button on the HU? sometime that fixes things!
  21. the beeping thing could just be low oil, mines got a little leak which gets worse when the oils at the max level so i tend to keep it fairly low and i know when it needs another bottle tipping in because it starts to beep when i give it some stick round a roundabout!
  22. ouch! i hope they groveled like fook for that one, no one hurt i hope?
  23. might well take it off your hands henny, one of mines a little tatty (ie looks like its been tw*ted with a hammer at some point) so i could use that as a spare and your spare as an everyday...how confusing! PM me the info will you? cheers
  24. 5 stud so its got to be a VR, maybe a special edition or optional extra? -edit- beaten to it by vr6storm!
  25. a friend of mine just stuck her car on autotrader and has had 3 simular emails, but most with things like "i'm interesting in the 'auto' you have for sale" substitute 'auto' for 'car' or 'item' otherwise the rest of the email is exactly like yours andy. she got excited about how many people were interested until i pointed out that A) it was basically the same email 3 times and B) its quite obviously a scam. I tried to convince her to email back with a 'shipping quote' including enough bubble wrap for the entire car but she wouldnt play :(
