I now have a hose thanks to rodmax. Still looking for the other bits ...
  3. It does say "This recipient does not accept payments denominated in British Pounds. Please select another currency to send your payment.", so I just sent the equivalent USD value instead, according to PayPal. For me this was $157.71. Cheers, people :).

Unfortunately CazzaVR's door card turns out to be the wrong style. For the avoidance of doubt, my knackered one looks like this: The seat cloth is like this: Any other takers?

    94 VR6, so late.
  6. Oh go on then. But only if we get to 10.

If you are actually in Edinburgh there is a parts desk at the Western VW in Gorgie.
  9. Probably Sagan. He's definitely one to watch in the next few years...
  10. It's been done by the same man, let alone the same team; and on his first ever TdF!

If that's what it's called, yep. The trim panel that would be a door card if the Corrado had 4 doors :).

  14. Remove airbox. Disconnect cat. Loosen gearbox mount. Remove nuts from front and rear mounts. Use a long bolt (I forget the exact size but I think it's about M10 fine or thereabouts) to relax the belt tensioner. Jack the engine up on the sump until the water pump is accessible. Replace the pump. Reassemble in reverse order. The most difficult part is disconnecting the cat from the engine, if it hasn't been done recently. The rest is pretty straight forward, assuming you have a good selection of tools (socket set extensions/UJs).
  15. Relatively warm engine and a small cab. Simple really :).
  16. Here's a mod idea; make the spoiler go up at 88mph?
  17. Probably a misfire which could be one of many things; plugs, leads, coils or even sticky injectors flooding the cylinders and preventing ignition.
  18. Speaking from experience, VR6Pete, be prepared to replace a substantial section of the inner panel too. :(
  19. If the back panel isn't going to be used I would just drill straight through with a normal drill bit. I've used the spot weld drills in the past and they go blunt very quickly. They're also a PITA to sharpen. So if you're not keeping the boot floor don't waste your time, just go through both panels.
  20. If this goes ahead before I'm ready to put my doors back together, I'll take a set.
  21. I'm doing the strip and prep myself to later hand it off to a local garage for a full respray. Given the hours I've put in, I fully appreciate why a respray costs what it does. It's masses and masses of work. I'm not afraid of tackling big jobs but I'm seriously never doing this again.
