  10. if you take the black rims off carefully ,its one nut on the back of the guage, then the instrument just pulls out of the pod, carefully rub down the needle with 1200 grit paper, mask up and spray the needle. I did mine in white, and replaced the rims with some chrome ones i had laying about. I will post some pics tomorrow.

  16. I did a dash swap this morning, grey to black, took me 6 hours, nothing difficult, but as our learned friends prior to this post says- time consuming ! I must have done something right, as i have NO cuts or abrasions on my hands, no i havent got "girlie" hands and iam not double jointed ! take the dash out, its a really good learning curve
  17. The last screen i had put in (by the RAC) I wasnt happy with, shoddy work is an understatement, anyway made them change it, and yes they broke it getting it out !Cut a long story short i had 3 screens put in till they got it right ! THREE screens they broke !! Chances are yours will get broke, unless you have more competent fitters near you
  18. mine snapped like yours have, the best way to do it is take the seat covering off, either replace it,or weld an extension onto your broken lug, If i was you id try glueing it on first, and seeing how it holds !!
  19. mine done the same thing !made some aluminum ones, longer then the originals, glued them in place been there 3 years now,
  20. i have an aftermarket rad on my valver, had it about five years, havent noticed any difference in heat. Have a look at your waterpump, they have been known to fail. ! Also check your timing, if its been tuned,/cammed it could be out enough to make it run hotter. Good luck
  21. thank you, when it comes to valvers, you are the man :notworthy:
