  1. A wire Tees off to the diagnostic block behind the dash in front of the gear stick and the rest of the loom goes under the drivers seat, along the door opening and into the fuse box.
  2. You must have some good wiper seals on yours. Most people's are in a very tired condition after nearly 20 years.
  3. I don't think there is an anti 20v feeling on here really, it's definitely a forum with a bias to na 6 cylinders but I think pretty much anyone in here would fit the 20v if there wasn't a 6 cylinder alternative. I'd even be as bold to say that the 20v conversion is a better idea than the 24v, 6 pot noise aside. Now if there was an easy 24v turbo option off the shelf, the only thing the 20v would have would be economy!
  4. responsibly? I'm just not being a wrong un anymore!
  5. Not since I've been married fortunately, All wrong has long left!
  6. Thanks guys. I took the opportunity to make sure everything behind there was nice and secure and the end result is no more rattles from behind the dash! Just all of the trim in the boot area now that rattles like an old woman!
  7. Cleaned up and fitted centre console and fitted the new head unit. By time I had finished, watched the F1 and sorted out other stuff, It was too dark for normal pictures. I'll use that as an excuse to take a night photo. Came out OK I guess. I've now got a Pioneer DEH-8300SD for sale if anybody wants it before I stick it on the bay or Facebook.
  8. I've had an email from GSF this afternoon saying they are doing 33% off everything until the end of the month when you shop online and use 'nove33' as the discount code. Hope it's of use to someone.
  9. I used a few spots of superglue to stop mine falling off, I think the previous owner had bricks for hands.
  10. Fingers crossed you are one of the people who can use one of them. I always seem to get into full Retard mode with them and make things worse. Vacuum bleeder everytime for me, although I really should buy one instead of robbing them from mates!
  11. Mine felt pretty vague and spongy on my last Corrado, but on this one I fitted braided lines all round and had the teves system too and they feel great. You look like you have nice new rubber lines on this where as the rubber lines on mine were way past their best and I'd guess that was the culprit for the pedal feel. Bleeding them was ok, but I borrowed a vacuum bleeder and that worked well, so much better than the nasty pressure bleeding kits that use a spare tyre for a pressure source. Mic drove mine recently and liked them. A compliment considering the monster brakes he has!
  12. My ashtray retaining screw wasn't very secure and it used to rattle like you wouldn't believe. It's amazing what an annoying rattle will do for your motivation to carry out a mod!
  13. Another Aqua Blue saved from the scrappy! Good on you. I also like the yellow calipers. Have you driven a Corrado with the 288's yet?
  14. My latest project. Pretty poor picture and I've got a bit of tidying up to do before I actually fit it. Hopefully if the rain breaks tomorrow, I'll be able to get it in.
  15. The carriers are larger Sean. It's the carriers that make it an expensive package. 6mm spacers required if you fit to mk2/corrado/mk3.
  16. I sold my last set to the mk4 lot for 220 in a matter of hours.
  17. The alarm is nothing to do with the ecu unless it's a massively clever, new and expensive. Just remove and redo any wiring.
  18. The ABS loom is completely separate from the rest of the car Jim apart from maybe the last few inches where all the wires go into the fuse box. You do need to lift the seats out and the carpets up to gain all the access to the wiring you need.
  19. That's what I loved about it. So simple to achieve.
  20. I think it makes it a bit easier to read at night. Not so clear during the day though. Maybe I need to modify it so that the readouts are permanently lit?
