It'll soon be time to hide the fire lighters and matches!

Cheers mate. I looked in a Corrado the other day and was surprised when I saw the green to be honest! -
It's a lighter engine with the plastic manifold so I'd imagine that's your ride height question answered.
-
Maybe because the steering wheels are more affordable than posh wheels? I do like a posh steering wheel though!

Best colour

I think the mk3 VR6 item will also work. Anybody know for sure?

As if I'd let her! She doesn't thrash it hard enough! -

And before anyone mentions it, the wife took the picture! Oh I and I finally fitted some mats! -

Back from yet more travels and thought I would give the old girl a small service in time for the winter. New oil and filters and life continues on with it without any further issues. Tipped over this milestone too on the way back from a drive out. Not quite the full 200k but getting there slowly! -
Biggles glasses until then?

If it's gone back to standard spec Aqua Blue, then it's pearlescent and looks great in the sun!

I've been on the lookout for this radio for a while, they just don't exist in Europe! -
Looks too dark. Maybe it's the photo? That is a good looking car though!
-
Yours is such a clean example though. Good luck with the matrix, it's a fun little job!
-
If these 24v conversions in cars of this quality are worth so little, mine is worth pretty much nothing with its paint falling off!
-
OK OK, I'll admit it, I'm jealous! What do you plan on doing next?
-
That's the problem with complicated machines, they loose their reliability unless the extra time and money is spent on over engineering. Where the price is the point everyone works too, you're always going to have compromises. I work on aircraft for a living and the amount of work I do that can be classed as recall is staggering. Another victim of cost over reliability. But a lot of that is the government spending a fortune on a domestic product for the sakes of politics and not buying an off the shelf alternative. But that is an argument for another thread.

That's a nice healthy amount of glass in there Kip, A bit of carpet or foam to line inside and you'll have a good sound.

How long did the VAG management totally deny any problems with its injectors being a problem on the 2.0tdi range before they finally caved in and issued a recall? Every main stream manufacturer are guilty of denying a problem until there is no other choice.
-
Looks good! How many plys are you going for?
-
I'm guessing a fibreglass inlay for the sub enclosure to make it a perfect fit. Although I can't see the release agent anywhere unless it's on the dynamat type material already.

What kind of deals have you found for the ST Jim? No doubt you've heard of the bargain deals you can get on the Golf R?
-
Quite a few of the dealers can price match lease companies so you may have an angle in that way. Otherwise, just go in there and turn on the charm. Most dealers are quiet in the mornings during the week, so if you can get in there at that time, you stand a better chance!

Have you driven one?
