The estate versions of those look great too!
-
Is it definitely the original gearbox? There are a few versions kicking around from the golf too.
-
The best way of keeping it simple is to do it properly. Doing this way just seems to be a pikey. It's not expensive to have the ecu worked on to get around initial blocks.
-
I've never seen that before, looks good!
-
What a great colour! I ran a 318 when I was an apprentice, great car but a little slow and pretty thirsty if I remember accurately! I'd love another!
-
Looks smart, don't see many white ones about these days. Like the pre face-lift e30 in the background, I never knew they came in that grey until post face-lift!

Were there 2 different types of VR6 steering wheel?
Sean_Jaymo replied to VR6 Gar's topic in Interior
I have one of the wheels and I love it (thanks again) but it is definitely narrower to hold than the wheel that was fitted before hand that looked the same. I'll avoid the obvious girth in hand joke here! -
In for a penny and all that! How much is ceramic coating out of curiosity?
-
I think you're right mate, I vaguely remember disconnecting exhaust related there when it was cold and I couldn't feel my fingers!
-
If you're replacing brake lines, dropping the beam is easy. There are plugs for the lambda below the brake servo which should make life easier.
-
When I fitted my standard exhaust, I disconnected the left rear flexible brake lines and dropped the beam off so that I could slide the exhaust on/off sideways from the car.

If not BMW, then how about old Mercs? 1970 C Pillarless coupe for anyone interested...

The "Will these wheels and tyres fit" thread

Cheap/low quality reps must have less spoke clearance. My 16x7 et 35 wheels only have 5/6 mm of clearance in places. -
Yes you can.

1995 (M Reg) Corrado VR6 Breaking - Updated with Pictures

I'm back from my week in the big smoke and I'm still waiting on how you want paying for the fan module and wiring. Let me know please. -

There are 2 versions of the one on the left, a thinner and a thicker one. -
Well we kinda got close to the problem when we suggested the alarm so it wasn't all wasted :-)
-
This stuff comes in 3's mate, alternator, power steering and now this. That's your quota now so enjoy what's left of the summer! It really is much easier with the dash out.
-
I agree, sounds suspect! Lights normally go green or off when the alarm is deactivated. Get it ripped out!
-
I think it's the time of the year, I'm also finding a lot of the same coming up constantly and it's putting me off a bit...
-
I'm away from home at the moment so can't give exact info sorry, but if it makes you suspect the alarm, my car exhibits these exact symptoms if I try and start it if I forget to disarm the alarm/immo. My alarm is a toad alarm though. Can you find the wiring diagram or installation booklet for your alarm, that will tell you what wire does what. Do you have a status light for the alarm?
-
Haha! I'd feel suspicious if I was told that!
-
Yeah that's why I said pretty much bolts on :-)
-
Change the intake and throttle body and you're likely to get close to the abv power anyway.
-
If you want 6 speed, go and fit an 02s box. They pretty much bolt straight on to 4 pot engines. The 02s is a 6 speed version of the 02a that vw took heavy inspiration from the Gemini 6 speed version of the 02a.
