Glad it wasn't just me! I was wondering if I stopped at 2 beers last night or carried on and forgot I had drunk more!
-
I'm not convinced :-(

Just refuse her the right to ever put motion potion in a car ever again!
-
I doubt you'll find anyone on here who has done that. It's not that type of forum. OEM plus seems to rule these pages. And rightly so I think!

I've heard very good things about Wavetrac. Give them a google.

I removed 15mm from the rear mount and everything cleared. No need to remove bracing from the bonnet.

Will car insurance go up or down in 2014?

Rates need to rise to a more sensible level. Give me strength! -
He's right, unless you change to gearbox without the vss pickup, nothing should change. As said above its only the rev counter on mk5 based ecu's that is different. There are the occasional ones that fall through the net for some reason that need converters but most 2.8 and mk4 r32 lumps should work off the ecu signal.

It's a fine line on these cars, too low ruins the drive and too high ruins the looks!
-
Whatever it is has done a very good job of getting that far :-)

Has it come from the crank case breather return or from near the pcv?

When I got my current shed, it had the amp in the boot removed and the positive feed was left loose in the boot about 2 inches from the earth and some bare metal! Nice one! It was fused but still! Shame that something like this could potentially destroy a car likes yours! -
Yeah :) I'm only jesting!

Cheers Chris, Shame there are so few sets knocking around :( -
Shameless self whoring! Weitec 40mm shocks and springs but i'm thinking it's closer to 50 or even maybe 60mm?

You'll be surprised how you remember random little details when you do stick it back together! A year on I still find myself remember things in the rebuild!

Cheers Mic, It's ok, they're not going anywhere! If they do rub, then I have an excuse to expedite the trip to the bodyshop! If that doesn't work, I think I know of someone who is after them! I'm looking forward to actually being able to drive this thing to see how a freshly rebuilt C24 drives! Thanks Goldie! They're CH's though -
192k on mine, i've done about 25 YARDS of that...

Well, it rained, rained and rained some more but luckily the sun eventually came out and I managed to have a test fit of my CH's. Not bad for what is supposed to be a 40mm drop! There isn't much room in the front arch, I will have to see how it drives and go from there! Either way, I'm happy with the looks! -
Maybe not 29's but normal sized ones "should" fit!
