Need to check the numbers on it, but may have an early Octavia Hatchback one in the next couple of weeks - Distance could be a problem though? Ian.

Any chance I could just take the drivers door glass please Jake, maybe collect it from work if the timing is right? Ian. -
Have a good one Sean, speak soon. Ian.

I've got the set Chris returned to me to get replated so should be done in the next week or two, are you happy for them to be finished as per these photos? I could bring them along to the CCGB AGM on the 26th for you Charlie and do an exchange? Ian.

Thanks for the kind words Chris, it is much appreciated! Ian.

Hi, This being a UK site it is difficult to gauge prices in other countries but if the mileage is genuine the it looks a good buy. The supercharger needs rebuilding every 30/40k miles which will cost you $600 approx, the window not working could be the switch, window regulator or a wiring fault. Perhaps view it and ask again if you want more advice? Ian.

Rog, if you want I can get the affected area's Hard Chrome Plated @ work for you? Ian.

The accelerator pedal never had a rubber as standard, however a MK1 Golf one will fit. If you do end up replacing the Starter Motor, a V5 MK4 Golf one is worth fitting instead. Ian.

From memory I got a brand new wiper motor off E Bay for around £30.00 or slightly less delivered if you want to go down that route, think this was it a Febi one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Febi-Front-Wiper-Motor-Screen-Window-OE-Quality-Replacement-Genuine-/390973448094?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&fits=Car+Make%3AVW|Model%3ACorrado&hash=item5b07d55f9e Ian.

The Corrado episode was on tonight if anybody wants to watch it on catch up. Ian.

Cheers Rog, if I can't understand it then it might get called worst than a "bible". Ian.

Mine wasn't the best either, but the contents inside look OK? Ian. -
Mine passed again Saturday,so legal now to 01/04/2016 - Just the usual advisory of a chip in the windscreen! Ian.
-
Thanks. Will check the markings on it to the one you fitted, slightly worried however that it is from a hatchback rather than an estate? Ian.

A friend of mine is scrapping an early (T Reg) Octavia Hatchback with a Glass Moonrooof in it, is it worth taking it out - Has anybody ever fitted one successfully? Ian.

Think the air box rubber bands are still available from the dealers. Ian.

Would be nice to know what they spent £1000 on then as: 1) O/S Front Fog Light has water ingress or condensation 2) Exhaust tailpipe is starting to rot away 3) Looks like corrosion by the number plate lights 4) The 17"(?) wheels are showing signs of corrosion under the paint. Why aren't people honest with their descriptions? Ian.

Good work so far, keep it up! Ian.
