    I think the bolts are loctited in and I have read similar stories of them snapping off after being in situ for so many years. Ian.

    I believe the Round VW Badge in Chrome is obsolete - You can also use a late MK2 Golf one and change over the backing plate, however they went obsolete last year as well according to my dealer. Not sure if it is available from Classic Parts though? Ian.

Still on the door at present, ill remove it Thursday and take pics for you" Sorry, it is not the door rubber I want but the door aperture one that the door "rests" against when it's shut - As you open the door and look in it's a sort of D shape and sits in the bodyshell so to speak? Ian.

    What condition is the drivers door frame/aperture rubber seal in, as mine is split along the bottom? Ian.

    I may have one buried away in the shed, will check tomorrow and advise. From memory they are different part nr's for the driver and passenger side one, which Vagcat confirms - Think a very late car is 536955410A? Ian.
